No flash vote this week and the rumour is that it's been cancelled permanently

2 million viewers switched off before the flash vote started. It wasn't working so they've got rid.

They're nothing if not arrogant. They flagged up and heavily publicised this major rule change to the show for months in advance and now have arbitrarily scrapped it without a word of explanation to anyone.

But have deemed it not important enough to be announced, despite the fact that the flash vote was introduced amid a wave of publicity and press releases.
