Her attempt to mimicking Marks bald Head was inspired......! Claud is so much better in the pit, and Tess is much more relaxed without Bruce breathing down her neck......

I love them as a pair. I really don't miss a male co-host. Claudia is quite tomboyish which makes it balanced anyway.

I hope that when Bruce retires they continue

Claudia is mad as a box of frogs and looks it , but I've always liked her presenting. Surreal but spontaneous with a knowing sense of the absurdity of live TV.
They can quite easily do without Forsyth.

She does make me smile, I wish she was still presenting ITT.

I used to like Claudia on ITT but no longer. I would like her much better if she listened to the contestants rather than talk to them in that silly way of hers.

Loved Claudia tonight, she was so fresh, didn't need cue cards and was genuinely hilarious. No "Craig said.....what do you think" but genuinely interacting with the couples.

It's fashionable to knock Tess and Claudia, but they are both superb professionals at their jobs.

The more we see Tess and Claudia manage the Saturday shows brilliantly together, the more I believe the BBC could save itself a serious amount of licence-payers' money next year.

I don't know why the BBC would even bother to look any further than these two - providing Claudia would be up for it given her obligations to her young family. I wouldn't even mind if Claudia alternated weeks with Zoe in the Tess pit - they're both really good with the celebs in their different ways, and Tess up front keeps the show rattling along nicely.

The show would retain continuity and I doubt that anyone would even notice that Bruce was no longer there.

That's what I noticed tonight . Too much of Claudia doing the talking when it should be more the couples reaction after the dance .

Shame they were obviously running late as they didn't give her much time to do anything in the Tess pit towards the end.

My only criticism is that Tess did "a bit of a Bruce" and talked over the judges a bit, something I hadn't noticed before. I don't know whether she was "marking her territory" ready for the departure of Bruce, or if she'd been told to be more "prominent" by the producer, but I didn't like it.
Claudia had more to say, but maybe that was a bit of "filling" required as they were a dancer short.
But it was certainly a pleasant relief not to suffer Bruce.

If you like Claudia's style then yes she was great tonight. Her dry humour meshes well with the golly gosh enthusiasm of Tess. But I still feel Bruce would be missed more if I knew that he wasn't coming back the following week, for all his ever growing faults he still provides an old school sense of familiarity that the ladies don't. He's the old jumper you just can't bring yourself to get rid off.

I think his "jumping" days are far behind him.

I said this last time Tess presented.

Claudia has just about enough time to greet the couple before it's "scores are in." Yet apparently Bruce is the one who can't keep the show running to time, even though Tess rarely has to cut short her chats with the contestants when Bruce is hosting

Can you imagine what it would have been like if we hadn't have been one short?

I CAN'T STAND Tess in the "pit". It's constant cringe. I want to FF or turn it off. She's awful, wooden and contrived.

But I think she's fine in the Bruce role, and Claudia's great in the "pit".

To me the reason they seemed short on time tonight was due to the judges lengthy feedback at times (Sophie's in particular seemed to go on for a while) and all four being able to speak.

I really enjoy the combination of the two ladies, Claudia was made for the role upstairs she reacts to any unexpected situation instantly with a witty comment, whilst Tess takes the leading role quite competently. No long introductions or pointless stories before each dance, she just names the couple and says a line or two about their week. Perfect.

The show was 20 mins shorter last night than the week before.

I don't find her remotely funny. She tries to be but she tries too hard and is so unnatural. What is so funny about standing with a skull cap over your hair and mumbling about how you dont like terms and conditions. I like her less and less all the time. She thinks it is about her.

I think Claudia's a hoot - loved "people, I'm talking" near the end. I guess she's a 'Marmite' kind of person.

Tess was OK, but she's straying a bit too close to Forsyth tediousness by keep telling contestants that the audience are standing up. Needs to find her own script, but she did well in providing positive reassurance at the end of each dance.

The Tess'n'Claud team is miles better than most of the other suggestions that have been made for a replacement for Mr. 'Look it's all about me!'

There seems to be a relaxed warmth between Tess and Claudia - it's about girls/women being mates and having a laugh. Which is something you see a lot of in real life, but it's almost never visible on TV. (Maybe the 'suits' in charge feel threatened by it?) The show just felt more natural and spontaneous tonight. Whereas Bruce seems like an increasingly grumpy puppet struggling to go through the motions.....

Love Claudia too. So spontaneous, not at all contrived.
Miss her on ITT although am warming to Zoe now.
