Really enjoyed Claudia last night, she's great in the pit. I wish she could come back to ITT. I can't stand the way Zoe talks over people, never listens to what they say and everything is Hurrah!!! Rant over.

Claudia actually makes me laugh. Proper laughing not a wry smile or whatever. I think that's why I enjoyed last night's show so much. Some dances I recognised! lovely costumes (well, not Iveta or Fiona but generally they were good) and laughter. All in all a decent Saturday night's viewing.

My only criticism is that Tess did "a bit of a Bruce" and talked over the judges a bit, something I hadn't noticed before. I don't know whether she was "marking her territory" ready for the departure of Bruce, or if she'd been told to be more "prominent" by the producer, but I didn't like it.
It particularly annoys me when she argues with or encourages the audience to jeer the judges if they say anything critical. It may have started as a running joke with Craig but it's getting to the point where Bruno and Len are getting stick from the audience if they dare to say anything even slightly bad about the contestant. And unless a dance has really pressed his 'gripe' button, I don't think Len's up for that, which may explain why he gives so many undeserved compliments and high scores these days.

Same with back-talk from the contestants and pro's (and compere AND other judges). I don't care if you agree, this is that judge's turn to speak so LET THEM HAVE THEIR SAY, UNINTERRUPTED AND UNBARRACKED.

(Though I can sympathise with Dave backtalking when Bruno criticised his (non-Argentinian) Tango for not being Argentinian enough! )

She is fabulous and I find her so much more watchable than Tess

I laughed out loud too !! Claudia makes sure to break tension and make them all smile . Tess just makes the tension worse !

I love Claudia. Her dry humour, enthusiasm and her quirkiness are just adorable. I'd be great if when Bruce retires they just keep her and Tess and not introduce a male host!

I just loved last night . No cringing, hiding behind cushions or having to leave the room to make a cuppa. Want Tess and Claudia every week

Love claudia. And the dancers, professional and celebrity, seem to really enjoy themselves with her too.

The more we see Tess and Claudia manage the Saturday shows brilliantly together, the more I believe the BBC could save itself a serious amount of licence-payers' money next year.
Agree they work well together and love Claudia's interviews after the dance, she is funny and natural.

I used to think that Anton was the natural heir to Bruce's throne but now I really think Tess and Claudia are a winning combination.

Can't exactly pinpoint it, but I just cannot take to her.
The hair in the eyes annoys me and last year she adopted a stupid dancing pony entrance.

She's not for me at all.

I don't think you can know what everyone on the show think of her. I would think for every one that laugh with Claud ten laughts at her. Imo she has all the attributes to make it on radio....

I love the show so much more when it's just Tess & Claudia I think they work well together. With them it's about the show & not about Bruce

You've got to bear in mind with a live show especially they will had someone in their earpiece constantly telling them to fill up time or more likely move things along so they may suddenly appear to butt in , talk over or waffle.

I loved her! I loved the "Guys please I'm reading!" at the end! Everyone seems to love her when she's in the pit because they're always laughing!

I like her in this role. Small doses and all that. She only has so many Claudiaisms so she needs to use them sparingly. Otherwise she can get a bit predictable as she did on ITT.
