Are you loyal to an act regardless

It seems that some on here stick with their favourite no matter what their performance is like on the night.

Others seem to drop their favourite after one bad performance and switch their allegiance to someone else.

What category do you fall into

I criticise my act when that put in a poor performance, however I'm a Sam Bailey fan so this doesn't apply to me

it is called cognitive dissonance...Religion and war is based on it, why not reality TV? The great social experiment.

I'm a Tamera fan as much as I am a Hannah, Luke, Abi fan. If one of them preforms badly then I change who I support. So far, (imo) Tamera has been the most consistent so I like her above the others right now.

Most people are probably in the middle. I have my favourites based on who seems interesting, who I think has potential if given a proper introduction, etc., but they are not beyond criticism and if they keep falling short, I will jump ship.

I don't have an allegiance with anyone and I rank them each week depending on how well they did. I find NOT liking an act's personality affects me more than liking it. For example Mischa, who I thought was horrible, I could never enjoy her singing because of my dislike. I really like Hannah as a person but I still recognised that she had issues last night with her singing.

I have only liked two of the contestants since the begining and they are both still here. i dont swap and change.

I am quite loyal to a degree, but I also have a limit.

The main example would be The Risk a few years ago. I loved their first performance but after that something was missing for me. I supported them till about week 3 when I realised that it was the one performance I liked and not the act itself.

Most people are very loyal. All those Abi fans saying how good she's been through lives when most weeks she's been awful.

Luke could just stand there and not sing and I'd probably still defend him, although I have already said this week wasn't his best, I still liked it though!

I'm a Luke fan and I've liked him since the beginning, The only disappointing performance was from last night but I'm no doubt about it sticking with him because I know he has potential & I love him

Always. I vote for my favourite act every week no matter what their performance is like. Whether they forget the words, any slip-up.

I don't vote unless I feel someone was amazing (and no-one has been this year)

I don't have an attachment to any of the acts this year, its a bit like the Voice in that sense. I really don't mind either way

Usually by now I have an act I properly support and want to win. This year not so much, I like Sam B, but last night was the first time I've voted for her and even then I'm not too bothered. If she goes I won't be watching any more because honestly, the rest are not great.

For those who don't change; what is it that you are supporting?

So your fav sings flat as a pancake and you still support and post support on here about someone who sings flat as a pancake.

Kinda answers a number of posts on here. Best ignored if they are based of childish silliness instead of a contestants singing talent.

I'm quite fickle really when it comes to liking the acts. I can easily go off them if they don't perform well, and can start to like another act if they improve a lot.

Not at all. If any singer I like starts to sing badly, I'll criticise them, but gently. I like to see good singers and don't get blinded by appearances or personalities.

Loyal to the end......first G4, then Olly, then Misha B and now Hannah B......I can see variety when its staring me in the face, regardless of bad performance made!!!

I'm pretty loyal, I tend to have a favourite and stick with them unless they really screw up or go out early.

This year it's Sam C Sam B as well but she doesn't really need my support yet I like all of them this year though, except Rough Copy and Hannah.

I don't think it's loyalty as such with me, I just have a running impression of the contestants who most engage me and whose futures I'm most intrigued (or intrigued at all) to follow. It's not set in stone after an audition or two, but it takes in each week's performances and sometimes, whether or not they're actually developing much at all, someone takes five or six weeks before they make much of an impression on me, where another performer might have my ear from the start.

Voting, though, I'd only ever do on the strength of everything I've seen of someone up to that point, not as a result of one outstanding performance. Because I'm not voting to reward anyone, but as a gesture toward keeping in the running the acts I want to hear more of. Other approaches are equally valid, I guess

Loyal to the end too! Diana, Aiden, Little Mix and now Luke. I've been loyal to these acts cause they beckon my interest with the type of music they'd make. I've been loyal to Luke from his audition cause I know he had bags of potential, and also cause im into his genre of music (and i understand that certain themes dont reflect the type of music he would make).

That's not being fickle that is called using bloody common sense.

A rare talent it would seem.

I'm normally quite loyal!

Leona, Nikki, Diana, Stacey, Cher, Misha, but this year my favourite was Hannah, but changed to Sam B.

I like Luke, Tamera and Sam B. I'm sticking by Luke even though last night wasn't his best performance but I don't think it was as bad as Gary and Nicole made out. Tactics I guess - they want one of the boys out this week.
