Yeah, how very selfish and sel-indulgent of them. Camera whores both of them for using that as an opportunity to flaunt their sickly PDA. Keep those in their dirty bedroom, phlease!

Yep accept that. But could be trying to get over the other side of the story by the same token. Why bother to tweet a total stranger. What other motive?

His past exes?

I think Kevin's ex ( who learnt ballroom after marrying him July 2007)
Works now as a pro dancer on the Turkish version of Strictky.
Clare Craze. Where Lillia is head of the judging panel.

Let's say Kevin began his relationship with Karen whilst married to Clare - why do people have affairs or get involved in other relationships before finishing an earlier one?

Anyone with some life wisdom knows that it takes two marry and the same two to break the marriage, evein if they have help from others. I'm sure that if he was unfaithful it hurt his ex-wife very much. But that's for her to deal with now as Kevin has well and truly moved on. The path of love, true and not so true, is rarely straight and even.

I felt that a bit - Kevin just touched Dave's arm and then left him on his own. A little bit 'not great' there, made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

I thought Kevin looking after Karen was sweet, but a bit too much - it isn't all about Karen for everyone else, it was about Dave.

But... I don't think it was deliberate or anything, a little self oriented, but not terrible.

I believe you, but naysayers will beat him with their stick any way...

Can't be bothered with all this stuff.

Things are often messy between relationships - everyone knows that and I'm not judging it.

It's not the same as serial adultery - and even then...meh.

Life's messy.

Yes, agree with you. KevinfromGrimsby a bit over the top.

I suspect that James and Ola created it all. James seems like a really nasty piece of work.

He was the one pushing it via Twitter and into the press. We have heard nothing from Karen or Kevin.

Of course there was no tiff. It's all in the imagination of the cynics and the twitter jockeys. The final scene was a very touching one. Two people who worked long hours in a way that most commenters here wouldn't have the balls or stamina to do. It is nice to see dancers who care; who are passionate about performing and succeeding. Great people like James and Ola and Brenden. Wonderful.

I disagree. Kevin is a wonderful dancer and I am sure he will be back next year if he wishes to.

I iimagine that Karen would want to dance with her partner and I am sure that is what will happen.

I think he just loves Ola and is protective of her.

I think Karen and Kevin are a beautiful couple and that was a really lovely, natural moment between them. I hope they are both back next year.

You and me both then Button. I was beginning to think I had seen something different from everyone else.

I have never before seen this happen on Strictly....when a celebrity is voted out, surely it is their moment to say goodbye and whilst people also want to acknowledge the pro dancer, it is really not the pro who should be foremost in the spotlight.

Every other time, we see the pro being gracious and highlighting their celebrity.......this time all I saw was Karen acting in a most unprofessional manner and making it all about her.

I think people were just acting spontaneously and openly and not putting on a false face for the camera. Karen was clearly more distressed than Dave and her partner sought to support her. I doubt Dave or most people would have a problem with that.

If you look closely Kevin puts his arm round Karen and also the other arm round Dave. Kevin turns to Karen who is crying and Dave takes the opportunity to go towards other contestants. He appeared to be happy to do so,

I have at least twice.
Darren with Lilia after Dom Littlewood got voted off.
Ola with James after Gabby Logan's shock exit.

I have said exactly the same thing, but it was ignored by the 'detractors'...

But to be fair, Dom is a creep, while I didn't remember the last dance senario between James and Gabby...
