Does anyone else really not like the group performances?
It always feels as if every single one of them is pushing too hard to be recognized rather than making an effort to compromise with the other contestants and make a group effort.

The group performances are very useful in separating the wheat from the chaff, because the contestants are more relaxed and aren't being judged on their performance. Tonight just showed how bad Sam Callahan's voice is, and also one of Rough Copy (sorry I don't know his name). It's a very useful tool if you're going to vote based on performance.

Hate them. Just cheesy, cringey, school production nonsense
