X-Factor becoming a music label puppet
Sad. Big Band Week returns at the same time Robbie Williams is releasing a Big Band album. Coincidence? The labels must be paying a fortune to get such exposure. It's no longer a show to discover and nurture new talent, but a way to $$$ ITV's bank accounts.
Did anyone enjoy Robbie's performance btw? |

I enjoyed it.
Downloaded a nice 320 version of his new album today and it's sounding decent. |

X factor has never been about talent, just disposable puppets making money for Cowell. If i want to listen to new talent it certainly would'nt be anything off the x factor.

Every year they find a "star" who will make them a few quid through the lean winter months and then they can bin them off come August and start again. But then when you have posters like the second one there who said "so what"...you can hardly blame Cowell and his friends for screwing every pound out of naive, gullible saps. |
