I can't recall the last time a judge has had all three of their acts make it to the 6th week without any of them being in the Bottom 2... especially Louis

Just goes to show that after all the years of ridicule, Louis is in fact the best mentor of the lot. He always gets the worst category and makes the best of them. As soon as he's handed a decent category he dominates. Louis is no fool and knows exactly what the public want.

I know. We give him a lot of crap but he is great. And he seems close with his acts too.

Broken a record? Dunno, but he's certainly a stuck record.

I am crying with laughter! You actually think the "mentors" have involvement with the acts? Bless you, so naive.

Yes the previous record was held by Cheryl's girls in Series 5.

However Laura went in week 5 in that year. So KING LOUIS reigns supreme!

He's coming for Nicole's record she set last year of keeping all her acts until the final 5

Dannii had all her acts up to week 6 that year (when Daniel Evans was eliminated.)

Yes but Daniel had gone bottom 2 before then in week 3 as had Ruth twice (week 2 and 5)

The record is about not going bottom 2 which none of Louis' boys have.

Nicole's record is maintaining all acts - which she did until the final 5 last year

The record will be broken or matched by whoever has the boys category next year assuming they don't contain a Rylan type novelty act. A lump of cheese could successfully mentor the boys category. Even Sharon could do it.

In the majority of series he is the one who ends up with the joke act. So he's already at a disasvantage with only two serious contenders.

Not really, people seem to think the boys category has always done extremely well. It hasn't.

X Factor 2008- Scott eliminated Week 3, Austin Week 4.
X Factor 2009- Lloyd was in B2 three times, Rikki eliminated in W2.
X Factor 2010- Nicola was 16th out of 16. Aiden and Paige leaving in W6 and W7 (there were still 7 other acts still in).
X Factor 2011- Frankie wasn't doing that great in the voting, Craig eliminated in W8.
