I think it's very sad that Rebecca Adlington was turned down for Strictly, so accepted this instead.

I haven't been away really, I still watch the show and visit the forum but I don't feel the degree of interest that I used to so I don't post all that much.

Here's an article about it at the time.
She would've been the 5th really tall female celeb, and I guess, at 6ft plus, they didn't want to hire Ian Waite or another very tall pro to accommodate her. Sophie, Abbey, Rachel and Natalie are all tall this year, and only really Brendan and Alijaz can be described as tall amongst the male pros now. Ofcourse the Producers could've dropped another celeb to accommodate Rebecca.

So disappointed not to see Vincent in the official lineup for IAC http://www.itv.com/imacelebrity/celebrities, but did think it was strange for him to do it when I think he has a tour coming up in February.
I had heard he was going to be on it and thought that for the 1st time I would watch it from day 1. I'm disappointed to hear now he's not going to be in it.

I would bet that he will go in a few days later. They do it every year on IMAC... they put in so many on first night and then add another couple afterwards.
He was pretty much confirmed all along as going in so I would say he's almost certain to turn up there at some point

Just resurrecting this thread - I think Vincent is going in - a few days later as you say. Brendan's wife tweeted something about IAC last night with the hashtag #teamvincent.
