The Tenors

Forever Young....

As we watched this on Remembrance Sunday, with a background of falling poppies to signify the meaning of remembering lost love ones.....

I was amazed that the audience were cheering and clapping whilst the dance routine went on.

TBH I would have preferred to listen to the music and the words without the dancing anyway, but it seemed a crass reaction from the audience. It was a good song performed by excellent singers, but it was difficult to concentrate on what they were singing for the audience screaming every time and applauding for the dancers.

The producer got this very wrong methinks.,

I thought it was beautiful and didn't mind the dancers or the audience.

I, pretty much, thought the same.
I, honestly, think that the dancing during the time when the musical guests are on, that they can at least give the dancing a small break, and enjoy the guest's performance.
The Tenors would have been more appreciated, if the audience hadn't been cheering every so often, during a very solemn and beautiful song.
I always find the dancing, quite meaningless, during this short time and quite unrelated to the singing.

Yep, every little lift deserves a clap and a cheer in some peoples minds.
Inappropriate, rude and just a little bit ridiculous.

I would have preferred Alphaville's Forever Young.

Not worth even a fiver, I'd have preferred to hear the band and the singers with a tune of their choice.

Agreed. With cameras on the band. That would beat all the VTs put together. Oh and they are already being paid so it would save costs.

The Tenors shouldn't be employed to sing for a tenner! They are woeful.
