Rarely play CDs or vinyl in the house.
An iTunes playlist and a mix of old, current and cutting edge technology, gives me this novel option.

My CDs are pretty decorative these days. I have them all ripped and on my iPod which I listen to through headphones or the dock built into my Hi-Fi.

64gb iPhone for the lion's share of it as i have it on when i'm out.

When i'm on my PC, I listen to various channels on the site sky.fm, or usually radio 1 or chill on radioplayer.

In bed, i'll have Chill on my DAB clock radio or if i'm charging my iPhone, as it's got a built in dock, i'll have some "Smooth Lounge" streaming while i'm nodding off

If i'm in the kitchen or bathroom, I've got a bluetooth speaker that i link to my iPhone for more volume and better sound quality.

I don't actually own any physical music at all nowadays, which is amazing really since my old CD collection got well in excess of 900 albums and god knows how many CD singles and Vinyl.

When in the house, Spotify or vinyl. Out and about it's Spotify or my music collection on my phone.

Mostly CD and vinyl, through my hi-fi. Sometimes I'm lazy and will listen to Spotify or my MP3 player through my laptop, though.
