I think once people have paid to vote someone out it's a bit cheeky to let them be voted back in - but if it ever did happen Deborah deserves another shot, definitely.

well it would not be Russell as he did not win and I dont think John Sargeant would do it as he may win

Well, I guess nobody' s really voted out with public intent, just not voted in by enough people to exceed others' score and vote combo. I'd pick Deborah too.

I was thinking just of this year' s contestants, perhaps I should've clarified. Wonder how it would go in a wider choice?

Firstly if a contestant has a bye, there should be no dance off. If a contestant is to be re-admitted it should be the last one to be evicted. I have my favourites, but it is a subjective decision I have made, just like the public, just like the judges. Judging dancers or dancing does not have the same measurability as who can run the fastest or jump the highest.

Although it would seem fair that the celeb most recently evicted should be the beneficiary of any reinstatement, one imagines in practice the choice would be dictated by the reason for the reinstatement.

Should Natalie be forced to withdraw this week, Dave's reinstatement would surely do little to counter the drop in viewing figures.

But - assuming the willing participation of all concerned, and that a routine could be prepared in time - the reinstatement of both Deborah and Rachel, with an extra double-elimination in the quarter-final, might make a real difference.

My voting days are over, spent way too much on my phone bill for Dave, Vanessa and Deborah. Saying that it was a lot cheaper that X-Factor.
