I broke my ignore rule because you contributed in the thread I started but I am a little disappointed in your response. But if I have been snarky with you in the past I apologise sincerely. Ever since I had you on ignore, I found my life here getting much easier, but I have read from others PMing me that you were a target of some really nasty campaign against you as a poster (while I was on a ban so I wasn't there to see it happen) and I am sorry to hear that. No one deserves that kind of treatment.

Fav Celebs. Mark, Susanna & Natalie. I adore Mark but it has been very hard to watch him & Iveta career off their path so dramatically. So I have got fully behind Susanna & Kevin however a Natalie win would be fine by me.

Least Fav Celebs. Abbey & Fiona. Fiona is a lovely lady & I envy her looks (I am her age) but she is too bland for my taste. I don't dislike Abbey, which actually I expected too, but i don't exactly like her either.

Fav Pros. Kevin, Artem, Iveta & Pasha& Kristina

Least Fav Pros. James, Ola, Brendan & Aliona (if she stays) but more than them Anton

Favourite: Mark. I just love him. I know he's not the best now, in terms of dancing, and his time is running out - and that's fair enough - but I have loved four of his dances as much as any dances this year, I think he's a darling, the sight of him crying has really upset me, and I would so love him to have another dance that works before he goes. He's so much my favourite that I'd say currently my second favourite is Sophie, partly because I really like her and partly because she hugged Mark on the results show. I think Natalie should win, unless Sophie regains her sparkle, and that is a real compliment because I never ever think the one that came with dance training should win, but I do like Natalie and I do want good things to come from this show for her. (Sorry I can't do short answers to this sort of thing. I don't think there is anyone I don't like and if any of the others beat Natalie fair enough, I don't think there is anyone I couldn't bear to see win.)

Favourite pro: There isn't really a pro I don't like. But particularly at this minute, Iveta, Kevin, Pasha, Ola and Aljaz. And I think Artem is hilarious.

Favourite this week: Susanna and Kevin and how they worked that dress.

Least favourite: Fiona - I liked her on ITT tonight and she totally deserves to still be there. It's only really that film where she was doing animal impersonations. That freaked me out a bit - I don't know why.

Least favourite pro: I think Kristina is a brilliant dancer and a really clever, superb teacher and I think she does a wonderful job whether she's given a good dancer or a complete no-hoper. I like her. It's just one thing that drives me mad - the way when they are waiting for the results, it's like someone's going to die. I feel like her celeb has to comfort her, not the other way around. Every week it drives me nuts, but it's the only thing I'd criticise her for. It feels mean to make so much of such a little thing.

Least favourite this week: I know Mark was the worst other than Dave and the dance-off was the right one. But for me it can't be him so then it's Fiona.

I forgot about judges.

My favourite judge at the moment has got to be Bruno. He may be over the top, but I found his scoring most consistent and even if he has something negative to say (and I may not always agree with him), he often says something else positive to soften the blow.

I liked Darcey until her strange marking this year. She also seemed lost for words sometimes when asked to critique the dances she just witnessed. Not sure why. But I liked the moment she had with Bruno in Len's Len last Saturday (Bruno kissed her and she received it with grace and elegance and humour).

Okay, looking forward to seeing you post soon! I found smartphone finger typing frustratingly cumbersome too, and it's only this series that I start using a smartphone to read and respond a forum.

Now do you think it was Kevin who suggested to Vikki el al. to add so many (godets?) in that dress because he's going to do an 18-pivot-turn stunt in the number? I know Pasha instructed the dressmakers specifically over how Chelsee should be dressed in the QS and how Kimberly should be dressed in the fusion dance, so I am just wondering if Kevin is doing the same here. Seems like a coincidence if the dress makers somehow knew way beforehand Kevin would choreograph so many pivots to show off their creation, which if they are not dancing to that waltz would look a little OTT like the dresses in the fuffy-duddy Come Dancing show in the past...

The only sincere and positive thing I can say about Bruce right now is that he does look good for his age.

I thought perhaps that they'd seen Iveta's waltz dress (best dress this series imo) and wanted a similar effect, and then, yes, Kevin had imagined something like that when he'd choreographed the dance. But I don't know enough about waltzes or the making of feathery dresses to know!

I think you got me wrong there, Terry. When I say 'terry territory' I simply mean I have lengthened the Title of the thread to a considerable length, like yours. I don't mind your long thread titles by the way but I know some other posters find long thread titles annoying, thus I apologised in my OP.

I accept what you say on face value and there is no need to apologise to me, its just that singling me out and naming me in your opening post could be interpreted in a different way by a small minority of others, this may be a very active discussion forum, but I always endeavour to be polite and courteous to others.

Nice to know we come to some positive mutual understanding here. Do you have anything to add in this thread about your favourites and your least favourites of this series? Feel free to contribute. I will make it a point to read your posts in this thread (and respond, if need be).

Also Kevin's sister Joanne tends to favour feathered hemlines when she's competing so that may have influenced him as well.

edit: Is this Joanne in action? Gosh she is good, though she sings in the routine, and she did that Karen Hauer tango horse-kicking sequence in the routine.

Favourite pro overall - kristina, great choreographer, great dancer, nice lady. And gorgeous of course.

Favourite couple this week - susannah and Kevin a lovely dance from them, genuinely quite moving, and Kevin really showed his ballroom credentials

Least fave celeb - dave. Glad he's gone

With regards to the 18-pivot turns of Kevin and Susanna, Kevi might have been inspired by his sister's stint in the pro world doing it with that Paolo guy. Strange in this so-called slow waltz that she's doing, I can't help but notice it's in a four-four beat, when traditionally waltz should be in three-four beat??? Any one familiar with ballroom waltz (dancer or teacher or both) can enlighten on this point mayhap?
