Think Charlie Brooks did more tango steps in EastEnders for Children in Need than Sophie...

She's good isn't she? Often rumoured for SCD - it'd be nice to see her do it one day.

And whichever pro was partnering her would get all the ringer bashing of the year with her...

She is good!!!

Searched google. I think I must be suffering from amnesia (never mind cognitive dissonance)!

I tell you - Natalie Gumede's character in Coronation Street's got nothing on Charlie's creation, Janine Butcher. She's a gloriously evil creature.

Don't do soaps!!!

I only researched Charlie a bit when she did Strictly...

I watch them sporadically and practically never in the summer (the garden calls.....)

Natalie's a good actress actually. Well I think she is anyway. She certainly does a nice line in fruit loops.

I watched all the soaps when my nan was alive. We sat along the sofa and lived every one. But I haven't watched one in years...

Apart from Strictly

Now only got to this thread,

Favorite Celeb (this week): Abbey,I find her personality genuine and I like her dancing. Loved her Charleston, particularly the step at 26.08,I'm not a dance expert, but just loved that step for some reason, she looked fantastic.

Favorite Pro(Overall): Pasha,so cute,lovely,smart he is.

Favorite Couple(this week): Patrick and Anya,I like their partnership and danced a wonderful routine on Saturday.

Least Favorite Celeb(this week): Ben,I don't like him appearing topless(more down to Kristina I think) and running to judges, but I guess he must be lovely as a person (just by seeing him with his kids, never seen him in any other interviews)

Least Favorite Pro(Overall): Hmmm, difficult between Anton and Kristina, both I love them as pros, but not as good teachers to their celebs. I would say Kristina on this occasion, because of her over-reaction in the results show and letting Ben to dance topless to score good marks.

Least Favorite Couple: Ben and Kristina,I've to confess that I fast forward their interviews so they may be a good couple and I could have missed to see their good side.

A few familiar themes and some new ones from me

Favourite choreography this week - Brendan and Sophie's Argentine Tango - especially the 'onto the knees' bit.

Favourite frock - Susanna (does she have an 'h' - I can never remember?)

Favourite improved performer since last week - Ashley - think he's really working hard

Favourite bit of SCD - the actual dances

Favourite style of dance - probably a quickstep but I can be fickle with this one!

Least favourite choreography - I'm getting a bit fed up of seeing Iveta's leg held up in the air - but I genuinely like her as a pro and I find her deadpan sense of humour an absolute hoot!

Least favourite outfit - I didn't like Mark's Goldfinger outfit - though I normally admire his commitment

Least improved performer since last week - Well Mark again - but the Rumba is a tough call for a male celeb so I think he could well improve a lot this week

Least favourite bit of SCD - Bruce and the sketches in a dead heat. Would prefer the time was spent showing us more dancing.

Least favourite style of dance - always always the Charleston - it's not a proper dance and has about 3 steps to it's name. I only like it when the pros are very creative and do something elegant with it. Think Flavia managed it but she would look elegant in a dustbin!

I've just seen this, thank you for posting, Matthew and Alesha are my favourite Strictly couple ever and Artem and Kara aren't bad either

My Favourite overall is Natalie
Favourite last week is Patrick
My least favourite is Sophie - to me, she comes across as very cold and I just cannot take to her.

I won't comment on the professional dancers as I like them all.

Enjoyed tonight's show - marking was a little erratic, but overall I enjoyed aspects of everyone's dances.

Think we'll see Fiona go tonight...when Anton can't choreograph a good ballroom, it's probably time to call it a day before he has to give Latin a try again!

Fave dance - kinda loved Abbey and Alijaz's dance (although I know most think it was overmarked) and Kevin's Paso (can't give Susannah too much credit, because I really think that was all him...not that it's a bad thing, but I honestly can't think of any stunning moments Susannah had in it)

Think Patrick and Anya's had the potential to be amazing - shame about the wardrobe issue.

Least favourite...Fiona and Anton. I was disappointed...her dress was beautiful though! Also, I was kinda disappointed in Natalie and Artem, probably because I hold them to such a high standard, but idk if Natalie is right yet. She looked quite drained at the end of it.

Felt bad for Mark tonight - I know Brucie was trying to be nice, but God...sometimes it's best not to talk.

Also, randomly, Karen and Kevin are adorable.

Aw, thanks for thinking to write in this thread on the busy Saturday evening when new threads are popping up like mushrooms!

I will watch the entire show again (possibly tomorrow afternoon) when it appears on the iplayer and I will give some more in-depth comments on the dances. Those one word review was my first impression and I only managed to watch the actual dance sans the judges' scores, and I've discovered they have overmarked almost every dance tonight, which was really silly to say the least. But based ont he dance alone there were a few very good to outstanding dances I saw tonight, Susanna's and Natalie's are but two.
