I think the Ferreiras are grossly underused and might work if they came back to the show and interacted with other people.

The whole usefulness of the family went when their Dad left.

I really enjoyed EE tonight, Chrissie's revenge looks set to be great
I loved Johnny Allen seeing people he knew from years ago and actually bringing back some of the history of the show with Nick, Arthur and Pete.

The way the Ferreiras are at the minute, they might have secretly 'done a Kim Macfarlene' and just disapeared without a word said. I hope to see them soon as I really did think they added to the show.

I thought it money for Zoe herself to bring up the child - Den also made that comment to her on the market something about 'not having my kid freezing itself to death out here every day when I can offer some help'.

This could actually turn into quite a good story if it's handled correctly. Benefit fraud is a big thing which I don't remember ever having seen tackled on a soap before (but please put me right if it has!).

I agree. let's have them both in prison and the kids in care before the end of the month. I'm with Stacy on this one. Why should I pay taxes for that lot

Kim McFarlane went with Mick when he went to join some band or other.

Tonights EastEnders was very good, a good start to the week and will definitely keep people watching this week. Its great to see Enders being advertised again, I hope theres different trailers featuring the different women involved in Den's demise.

Yay!

Of course. And as you say - brief. Perhaps this time it'll be a bit more realistic.

I agree, they were done a great disservice by the writers and Berridge brigade.

Do they still have Toucan Cars or whatever it was called still running? Surely an integral part of the Square - they all use cabs all the time.

See, it's episodes like this which make me think EE is on the up again. This was great, real character based stuff. Someone pointed out that there were no BIG plots going on, but isn't that what's wrong with EE at the moment anyway? Too many sensational big plots that they can't pull off.

I love the Millers, I like Chrissie, I think this new Johnny bloke has potential, and I like it when EE goes back to it's roots. as they have done by making this Johnny bloke an ex-Albert Squarer. I also like to see character interacting who normally don't even share a camera frame together (eg. Big Mo and Den)

Good one Colin Wyatt.

Chrissie & Johnny Allen are great! xD

Well Chrissie just gets better & better and her friend was also great!

The stuff with the Millers was ok...

Didn't see the trailer! What did it say? Available online????

Bye bye Angie's Den!

Yeh I loved that Johnny Allen is steeped in Albert Square's history, he knew Pete and Arthur, Pauline, Dot, Pat, Big Mo, Den. Its great and the character has great potential. I have to say though, is there anyone from Albert Square's past that Pauline does like? lol

It was Chrissie sat in the kitchen looking into a little mirror applying her lipstick then she looked at the camera and said "For every time he's cheated...he will pay" or words to that effect. I guess for the next couple of weeks we'll see them regularly so I won't be so quick to turn over once the credits begin.

I missed the trailer too.

About the Ferreiras I just think they were given a poison chalice just like everybody else when it came to storylines. They seem to be the blame for EE's decline IMHO they weren't. That was down to Shannis and other stuff not just the Ferreiras.
It's terrible that they're not being used now because to be honest I didn't mind Kareena in tonights episode.

Agreed. It aint the family its their storylines. They were at their peek when their dad was around! I liked the whole bullying dad angle. Some of the family's credability left with him.
Sinse that they have really played behind Shennis, and Den Zoe Chrissie pregnancy thing. Shame because i'm growing increacingly sick of this one storyline. It's dominating the screen time a little too much! (my opinion)
