factory reset and erase sd card
Hi I sold a android phone today and before doing so I just factory reset and it came up with option to erase sd data I clicked yes.
Would of this got rid of the data on the sdcard aswell as the phone such as pictures and videos. I noticed all my songs were gone but didn't check pictures and videos |

No.
It only gets rid of data on the internal storage. To get rid of data on the SD card, take out the SD card. Or use the format external SD option if there is one. |

This phone only had 150mb internal storage and an sd card, would of sd memory meant the sd card?

Despite what qasdfdsaq said. The Erase SD option does erase the SD card .

Except it doesn't.
I just did this on my Galaxy S2 and S4 and HTC Desire today. To be fair it may vary depending on your handset. However the Android built in wipe in recovery mode certainly does NOT erase your SD card. |
