I think PATRICK can win this!

Definitely the second best dancer overall and best of the men.
He deserves to make the final at least.

It would be great to have a winner who really radiates the joy of dance for a change.

What a lovely expression, Venetia! 'Radiates the joy of dance'...

Natalie is clearly better in aptitude, talent, experience, all of that stuff. But the joy of dance? S'Patrick, every time, who tops that list.

Susanna is also looking good these last few weeks, learning too rein in her too-muchness.

It's an interesting competition this year

For a while I thought you beatified him into St Patrick!

I think both Patrick and Susanna are dull and lack charisma. Ashley could end up winning by default.

I certainly don't get much "joy de vivre" from Natalie & Artem's performances. Technically brilliant ofcourse but lacking in pure fun.

Hopefully less training may mean they haven't trained the fun out of the routine.

Good point... She and Arty are quite diehard in their personalities. A bit of enforced unpreparedness may be good for them. (Supposing neither is wearing a neck brace on the night)

Mmm.

Interesting comment. Would definitely agree with the first three but unsure about the last. Okay, gymnastic based but special.

It doesn't really matter how he dances - look at the last 2 winners.

I have really enjoyed Patricks last two dances. He is one to watch

Patrick is the best male dancer.

Ashley may be in a soap and have lots of TV followers, but when it comes to dance he has no charisma and no charm.

I don't dislike him at all, but I am kind of indifferent, perhaps because I do not watch soap operas and judge people not only their dance abilty, but the fun and joy they bring to dance.

They do not have to be perfect. That is not what it is about.

Patrick dances with sheer joy. Ashley dances competently but looks like a corpse on steriods with the 'emotion' button switched off. Joy rating - a big zero.

i'd like to think patrick can win this - he gest my vote for a freat combination of high quality dancing skills, an unassuming personality and a sheer love of what he's doing.

but i don't think he will.

i don't think he'll win as he doesn't satisfy the criteria of past male winners i.e. under 40 and never in the bottom two
