Thanks for posting. Nice read, but for some reason I found it emotional? My youngest son (now 23) has a head full of glue from sporting injuries, including being under observation for neuro-surgery. The wonders of football and tetesterone.

Not sure I understand this, they play the Sunday show everyday at 3pm this week?

I think they just broadcast live one day a week, and then that's repeated throughout the week so that the interview is on at the same time each day

was about 3:10 (recorded at Acoustic Fest, not Sportbeat) - said there's "lots" of material on the way and "definitely" an album coming this year...but was otherwise cagey on details

"Definitely" an album this year! I take this as a "soon" and not written in stone although I know his work output. I just get the impression he's not that far into yet, Porcelain and The Fire were both well under way by this point in the year.

Lots of new material - yes please I'm most curious to hear The End and poss some other tracks spilling over from Porcelain

Or maybe he has a lot of songs already written from the last few years, and it's just recording and producing that needs doing. He 's very quiet at the start of each week - who knows what he is doing at that time.

Like most I'll be happy with anything at all, I do love his interpretations of others compositions - but I do feel that there is rather a large suitcase of original material in various states of completion

I see James Arthur has joined the list of those who have severed relations with Syco. Can't say I am overly bothered by this one, although I do respect him for publicly apologising to Matt a few months ago.
