Good to have some direct communication from him. And at least we know January is tied up with studio work, and so we know not to expect any appearances or much new information. It does mean that this quiet spell is going to continue for a while yet. I'm happy that he seems able to take time on this album, rather than having to rush it out to generate album and tour income asap, at the expense of the final quality.

Nice article about Emily Bourn, a 17 year old singer/songwriter, who Matt and Paul Bullen have been helping.

Hi there - welcome to the thread! Have you been a fan since XF days, or have you recently become a fan?

Hopefully a tour will be announced after the album launch. He's busy recording at the moment, so the only event in his calendar is Wrexposure which is a festival that was postponed from last September. It's a really quiet time for Cardle fans right now, but if the album is released in March or April then a single could be going to radio as early as mid-February, which doesn't sound so far away.😃

I have just been playing his X-Factor CD by accident, which then led to a You Tube reflection of his X Factor work. Gosh, so long ago and still as refreshing. Cannot wait to hear news of his next tour or next album as so need a nice Matt Cardle treat.

I have contacted the organizers on this e-mail a few days ago but have had no reply, their website wasn't working and there are no telephone numbers given on their fcbook site. I was supposed to get the ticket before xmas. Hopefully it will arrive soon, I was just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

I'm sure I've seen other people who have had the same problem - maybe try tweeting them (Wrexposure, that is)?
