Ps the whole show was fab, and I enjoyed everyone in it, and the message and the comedy came across so well, some very talented people.

So glad you saw and enjoyed the show Parky

Such a shame you can't make 31st Pie, you'll be missed.

From Matt's facebook - Letters is FINALLY available worldwide! (Well Japan and USA coming soon). Wonder why it's taken so long, but good that finally it's sorted.

I know, I'm going to miss you all

My first thought re Letters - it was recorded when he was signed & under Syco - maybe that's got something to do with it? I very often wonder what would have happened if everything had been worldwide right from the start.

I hope the next album has a launch including an evening like that - the other two albums have not had great launches - very rushed it feels in retrospect. Hopefully the extra time they have had will have allowed a lot more planning to have taken place.

Would be rather nice wouldn't it . I'm not expecting anything until next year tbh, guy needs a break after the Memphis run for me though I'm well aware that you don't want to loose the momentum too much.

4th visit to Beale Street for Saturday matinee with my daughter. Her comments: It was very good. Hard to believe it was the same Matt she'd seen on stage at Shepherd's Bush last year. Was hoping for something a little more effusive but she did enjoy it.

Convo with OH about going to the last night didn't exactly go well. He's very prickly about anything to do with Matt "You want to go again!! I thought you'd be fed up with it by now." But he didn't say I couldn't go so ... see you there!
(Sorry you're not going to make it Pie - it'll have to be a virtual hug until the next tour.)

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a MCAT Secret Santa?
I can't organise a big enough one to invite everyone on Twitter but thought it might be fun for in here?

Time, has blunt your knife.
I cried my river dry

If enough people say they'd like to do it, basically everyone just PMs me their address and answers to a few questions like favourite colour, anything you wouldn't like/are allergic to, things you are particularly interested in etc.
Then everyone is paired up randomly and sent the details of the person they are to buy a gift for, usually there's a £5 or £10 minimum spend, then everyone gets a mystery gift from their 'santa', who can reveal themselves after if they like or keep a secret

I take part in them on a couple of other forums so just an idea

Seems like Letters is now available in the U.S. according to FB A long time coming but looks like Mgmt are also progressing matters along

I wonder if something will drop before Christmas? Music wise, he's obviously cracking on between shows

Hello peeps

As some of you know i went to see Memphis on the 26th of September unfortunately that was the weekend that Matt was sick so didn't get to see him. Anyway i still went to the show and it was as good as i knew it would be! However when i got home the next day i decided i needed to see Matt and Bev in the same show. Knowing that Bev was finishing on the 17th i looked at my work roster to see if i could fit it in and hey presto with some planning i managed to get down on Wednesday evening (15th). Got the 1140 train arriving at Euston at 1615 then walked down to the White Hart pub and grabbed something to eat (Chicken and Chorizo burger with guacamole) is recommended! I popped along to the theatre and spotted a friend from twitter so i stopped and chatted with her. Matt was already inside as she had literally bumped into him lol! after a while we saw Nathan go in through the stage door and then 20mins later Matt walked along from under the scaffolding part of the building with coffee in hand so i shouted hello and waved over. It was a bit chilly so we popped along to the travelodge and had a drink and waited for some more twitter peeps to arrive you know who you are

We walked along to the theatre and took our seats, once again i was in the Grand circle C23 so a similar spot to last time a really good view of the whole stage!!!

Having seen John perform as Huey i was excited and slightly nervous to see how Matt would compare??

Vocally no issues at all. John is an excellent singer but Matt took it too another level especially the Money notes in MILM.

Well what a frikkin awesome actor Matt is!! he seemed so natural and funny and the dancing for someone who has had no professional training (clearly being a skateboarder helps with coordination and balance). Clearly his music is the number one priority (can't wait for album4 to drop) whenever that will be But i would be very happy to see him do more MT (acting, singing, dancing) in the future. It must feel quite strange to have a sort of Job with a routine and regular income as well!!!

Can't wait for the 31st now it's going to be some day. And looking forward to seeing a lot of friends . My train arrives about 1515 so i will head to my hotel which is fairly near to Euston and then head down to the theatre area for around 4-4:30.

Loooooong time no speak Just delurking to say that I've thoroughly enjoyed every performance of Memphis that I've seen. The whole show is fantastic and Matt gets better with each visit, he's made the role his own. So proud of him Like everyone I can't wait for Album 4 but not sure it will be ready this year. He needs time to promote it and, as someone said, he could probably use a holiday after the last four months hard work. For those going to The White Hart, I can recommend it. We've been in several times. Very friendly (although) busy pub with nice food. Hope to see some of you on 31st

In my view it would be criminal for him NOT to have further MT work. Night after night I see rather astounded comments from all sorts of folks - more no doubt in situ after they leave the theatre . Like you say, a regular job of sorts but what strikes me is "family", they all seem a really close group of folks

I thoroughly enjoyed my Memphis visit tho Matt was ill that eve, right at the last minute . Haven't had another opportunity to go & 31st is a really bad day for me other commitment wise so unless a miracle happens I'll have missed seeing him

I agree - this can't be his last stint in MT. There is talk of Memphis touring next year - it would be great if Matt was involved in that - and you would have another shot at seeing his Huey.

Saw a tweet saying S Cowell was there a couple of days ago, I wonder if there was any truth in it.
