TeamMattCardle are taking a poll to find out fans' top 33 songs in honour of Matt's birthday on Friday. They've held a first round to narrow it down to 37, and now they want people to rank them in order of preference - pretty tough but fun!

The smoking photo is by far my favourite photo from the new shoot. Some of the others while nice enough are a bit modelly for me.

He looked very lovely on the National Lottery show:

At least everything is clear. It's funny, every and I mean every artist says soon and it doesn't mean anything special, sometimes it's maybe, I don't know or never. Spring and autumn are so different, fall certainly guarantees higher sales, but at the same time a tougher fight for a place on the playlist and the charts. But surely everyone knows the rules of the game and all that jazz

I'm team Matt in Black, these smoking and lying photos are the best for me (young Paul Newman vibe really suits him)

That poll is pretty hard... Voting in groups was quite brutal, All that matters, For you, Anywhere, Waiting, Water and so on bite the dust
I think that Letters will win overall

Yes I think that's what it is for me, I actually miss the days when he threw on anything and didn't care But I get it, and it doesn't really effect anything else so I can live with it haha.

Haha I would bet all the money that Letters will take 1 spot, actually I'm curious how much more points Lately had than Letters. I'm so glad that Porcelain and This Trouble is Ours are so high
I'm happy that Violet hasn't been completely forgotten, Lost&Found only 19th place...
I used to be obsessed with this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqBAU8AviyU southend lost & found

Yes it was good to see Violet and some Seven Summers songs in there. I was quite surprised Starlight did so well - but quite pleased that it's thought of so fondly. Nice that the top 3 (and the top ten) included a mix of all 3 albums.

Another tour date's been added:

Yeah I don't think he'll revisit any of them, although saying that he does sometimes throw in a complete surprise. So maybe.

Another gig - Lytham Festival on 4th August:

This year is somehow strange... Prince hard to believe...

I see that at Lytham Festival Matt will be on the same day and at a similar time as Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, this reminds me of this http://www.rollingstone.com/music/fe...0150317?page=3

I really like the way it's going with Yolanda, we've disc Matt bringing elements of Jazz into his material before & I don't feel it's a bad move after watching last nights footage . I'd really like them to do more together & boy, it looks FUN

Duet with Yolanda on the new album would be great, even as a bonus track on deluxe version disc2 which also contains acoustic Hallelujah

This https://www.instagram.com/p/BEwf4VDsjds/ !!! Marcus Valance please, please do graphic design of the new album, it doesn't have to be perfect, silk and smooth, it may be imperfect and rough...

Sometimes black T-shirt and good light is enough

This is actually very, very interesting what May will bring...
antologia

I see May already brought something concrete. Album in 2017...

I believe that Matt is now in his best years with his absolutely best voice. The thought, that we could get the album maybe in 2017, the next one maybe around something like 2021, is difficult for me to accept.
I'm guessing that a lot of the songs went into the trash ...

At the end Matt knows what he does and does what he wants.

I'm just disappointed.
