That made really sad and uncomfortable reading yesterday and i was glad the final meltdown happened in front of his family and he got the help he needed.I agree with you Crabbie about that pic in The Sun it was his eyes i noticed and he did still look ill.

Really looking forward to this gig now - I haven't seen Matt live since Scala. Under the circumstances of recent events, I think there will be a really special atmosphere and he is going to get an even warmer welcome than usual.

I really couldn't miss this one - it's a 50 minute drive from my house. But it isn't easy to get to if you are relying on public transport.

I think it is going to be very emotional. I hope he has either family or a close friend there to support him.

I'm rather green with envy, I can't get down there (must be sensible) but I look forward to everyone sharing It will be a special eve that's for sure.

Still pondering on the interview revelations, in some respects it's very private for him to be so open about it and then I think why hide it? It's frightening to think what could have happened, how this was spiralling out of control for months with the tabs being bought on the net?? ! The quantities were enough to drop a horse - he is very, very lucky indeed.

I agree - why hide it? Once it was known that he was in rehab, so many people, not just fans, would have been really interested to know what happened. Also, until I read Matt's story, I had no idea how dangerous or addictive benzos could be, and that drinking alcohol with them can be lethal. I have no need for any medication like that, but there could be many people who are using them in a similar way to Matt and may get a wake up call as a result of reading that article. It is really frightening to read just how bad it had got for him, and thank goodness he has such a good supportive family.

Fair enough - when I turned up for the date in December, when Matt pulled out at the last minute, I spoke to the promoter and he said it was sold out. So even if some people can't make it this time, I am sure the majority will make the effort. Hopefully it will be sold out on the night.

I don't expect HMH to chart well, the album will have been out 5 months, and I wonder if it will even have an official release, or will just be a focus single, to help promote the tour. An EP with a few new songs extra would be nice though. But regardless of charts etc the best thing is that we have another video to look forward to. I wonder when he will fly to L.A. and how he will cope with the phobia.

I expect it'll be a promotional tool for the tour, given the release date. A few TV appearances maybe?
