Really ??
I was flicking through the channels when I saw Shane Ward in the audience.
I don't think they meant in the audience - I assumed there was a sort of montage at the start.

There was a montage at the start and Matt came up briefly on that. No individual sound of him singing IIRC, just one square in a 3x3 box of all the winners. Hope that helps.

@matt_cardle_uk: With your boy @dougalsays and it's a good place to be at lunchtime!! http://t.co/O5MzqokzRL

@matt_cardle_uk: Awesome day with @dougalsays a few wings and were gonna put this one to bed.... The unplanned chicken is the best #nowingsnotunes x

Well this is interesting. It sounds like they are finishing something off rather that writing something new. New single perhaps?

Xmas single ?
I think that it is too late in the year for that. Maybe something in the new year.

I agree - it's only about 4 weeks to Xmas and if they've only just finished it, it would be a few weeks before they were ready to send it to radio and also record a video. More likely to be a new year offering.

I know, bless, must have been about 6" from the ground. I could hardly keep my eyes off his feet after MinkyB mentioned them Loved Mels impression of Matt.
Right at the end of the interview she said exactly what I was thinking, Matt didn't half have a sweat on. Must of been hot in there
Somebody has stated that JA is meant to be going on the show next week. Interesting choicer of presenter and guest, owing to the climate at the moment.

As it is so quiet on here and Matt has been ignored on X Factor, just a clip (which is now over 14 million) to remind me why I watched the show and why it no longer interests me.

It's still getting a lot of views and comments. I hadn't listened to this for awhile, but I listened to it in the car this morning and it still gives me goosebumps, even though I must have listened to it a few hundred times

Like you I have not listened to it for quite a while and then found myself repeating it on You Tube, rather than playing The Fire. Yep, still get goosebumps. What I like in that video is the reaction of the judges and strangely in the space of three years the show refuses to acknowledge Matt. Petty, sad and rather immature comes to mind and it does not say much for how they respect their audience.

Did they both support the charity this time last year by appearing together? Was it the event where Matt made friends with one of the horses (sorry, sounds daft, but hope you get my drift)?

Yes that's the one I remember the picture, I think she is a patron and asked Matt to come along and they both sung.

It would be nice to hear them sing together. I hope it goes well.
