I think he was saying that - but on this occasion I was assuming it was specifically referring to his support on the flight. I think Will has a bit of a flying phobia too, so possibly wasn't much better than Matt, whereas if @boyfromdevon is ok with flying, then he probably is able to be a real support.

The only year I have watched The Brits in the last 20 years was when Matt was nominated, and I was hoping for some glimpses on camera. So no, I didn't watch, but am happy to hear about that particular joke from Jimmy Carr - although I actually can't stand Jimmy Carr, and rarely find him funny.

Cheers, realised my comment might have come across rather stroppy, but glad you understood what I meant. Personally I would hate to have anybody second guessing. Agree with you, do not think I would be a happy bunny if a twitter acquaintance was interfering in my life.
I have just seen a Dannii thread on the MF and somebody mentioned that Matt was now under her wing. I know she has taken on Dami, her act that won Australian X Factor. Has she branched into Management and is Matt under her umbrella? Anybody know what Will is upto now? Hope all is well with him.

I think her manager (@boyfromdevon aka Nathan Charles Smith) is now his manager, not Dannii herself.
Hope tonight's performance goes well, I'm not a big fan of the new style of hat personally, I prefer the beanies!

At 8:07 and 9:09 you can see fleeting glimpses of them (well I think the one at 8:07 is them LOL and am certain it is at 9:09).
They must have got on really well at the Cool FM Ball in December, as I am sure they couldn't have met via XF, since Matt was already an outcast by Lucy's year.

I think he has to do some popular covers when he is playing to an audience that is not necessarily there for him - familiarity with the song makes people more aware of just how good his voice is - hope he does a few of his own though.

Lovely to read all the comments from last eve - folks only have to listen, you can indeed get a surprise sometimes. I feel a mix of his own songs & a cover or two is good at these events, folks aren't always familiar with your own music - as said many a time his cover can outshine the original.
As for the angel comment, I took it too mean kindness shown on the flight - it's only a short one but if he's going solo as such it's quite a challenge.
I'm rather envious of everyone going to Bridgewater next week - caring is sharing xx

He sang WWC, Letters, It's Only Love, Shooting Stars, Gotye & Loving You - so an even mix of his own and covers which is ok for an event like that I think, and he apparently had pictures with him to sign.
