Flying visit - just got in from Bournemouth - still buzzing!!! Will gather thoughts properly & post a report #sooon (not tonight!!) - but suffice to say that he was on TOP FORM vocally tonight. He held some notes that defied belief, it was just brilliant. I SO love the band gigs - they were all so into it - feeding off each other. My camera didn't like the lighting much but I did record In Chains & Porcelain but I'm afraid won't be able to upload immediately. He seems happy, relaxed, confident - so good to see after all that's gone before. )

In Newcastle now. Not much sleep. Had to be up at 5. Amazing night. As Minky says - notes that defied belief. Vocally the most impressive I've seen him. Had a short chat with the very lovely Nathan .

Thanks for calling in folks Every photo I've seen recently shows he's not holding back on that voice of his - I do wonder if it's like the Letters tour, as a muscle as such it just gets stronger? To say I'm looking forward to Friday & next week would be a bit of an understatement!! Oh, some photographer chap took some really nice band shots last eve - together with the full on vocal

At IOL we all got up again, and the security seemed to get upset at that and told people to sit. By the end of the song we had all sat down, but bopped up again for the clapping bit in Letters with Matt's encouragement and remained unchallenged! Well it would makes sense (re connections now too) plus some others areas outside the uk - I've no doubt they are looking into these things. It's one step at a time

I'm still chuckling re the sit down orders at last nights gig . It's always awkward at seated gigs, should I stand, what about the folks behind etc Maybe it was on H&S grounds??? But then I think about the RAH a few weeks ago, one very low balcony which I kept my hand on when stood up - no one said anything !
