Is that wow good or wow bad? Remember the Amazon prices are what people are charging. They may never sell them for that price.

I've sold on both eBay and Amazon and not had any problems...except when one guy got the phone, said it didn't work and then sent it back and I had to refund him and he had managed to destroy the phone so I was out of pocket.

Sold one on mazuma with no problems, they send you a bag, put the phone in and send it back, they check it and give you the agreed price that was quoted on the site, very quick aswell from sending it off to getting the monies.

Another I've used is cex which is a high street phone shop if you don't know. Basically turn up and ask them how much, they will take the phone and tell you to come back in 30mins so they test it, they will grade it from A to C and price accordingly.

CEX prices are normally similar to prices you'd probably get from the sites mentioned already, only advantage with CEX is that you actually go in person and get the cash in hand the same day

Unless they've changed a lot lately you'd get a much better price (and also much more hassle) selling it on eBay

I used then and then sold to mobile phone xchange and went for a debernahms voucher.
They were a bit slow, and did re-grade my iphone3Gs to a vodafone (which it wasnt) and knocked something like 50p off the vaule.

I've had good experiences using Mazuma and O2 Recycle. Some people I know have had bad experiences with Mazuma and Envirofone. Best to avoid RCP Recycle or whatever it's name is, nothing but bad reviews from them.

I've always sold my old handsets on eBay, just sold my iPhone 5 on Sunday. Never had a problem, you just have to put buyer restrictions on.

How much did you make after fees and postage?

Not as much as I'd hoped, £280, and it was only 7 months old, pristine condition with all the original box/accessories but it was more than O2 although not much (£250).
