I would suggest that perhaps 'Cold Blood' is a little too complex for the casual viewer who may have missed 'The Hungry Earth' (which is c*** so I'm glad they're not showing it) but 'A Good Man Goes To War' is even more complex for the casual viewer who may have missed the entirety of series six up to that point.

It is rather bizarre! Bit disappointed I missed the first one, it's been a long time since I saw any of Tennant's episodes but I assumed it was just a clip show.

Oddly, I can now remember filling in a survey for the BBC Doctor Who panel asking about my favourite monsters, didn't think it was actually for a purpose!

I gave up after 5 mins because the presenter was so irritating

I was hoping for a mini documentary about each monster, which would include classic Who

But it seems that only the new stuff is being shown?

I'd guess they're choosing stories that will fit into the 45-50 min slot rather than nu-Who 2 parters or any classic Who which were longer. Shame really as I'd rather see classic Who than the far to often repeated nu-Who.

It was the Judoon.

Buggered that up haha.

Forgot how good Donna was as a companion. After the constantly moaning Rose and Martha, it was nice to have someone who just loved travelling.

I have a feeling the Clockwork Droids are in this countdown because of the quality of the episode and not the quality of the monster.

I sincerely hope that this isn't going to be the theme of all the Doctor Who tributes. This is about celebrating 50, yes 50 years of this great show not the Nu-Who.

Only nine monsters or villains better than the Judoon? You're got to be kidding me.

From what I can remember the poll for this had VERY limited options.

I was looking forward to this! What a load of trash!! It's just celebrating 8 years of DW!! What about the past 42 years?
I shan't be watching the next episodes, what a waste of time tonight!
I'm looking forward to 'An Adventure in Time & Space' though - that will be better than the actual anniversary episode I reckon!!

And there's the obsession with the doctor's name beginning.
