iCloud, confused.com?
So I'd already backed up my iphone and it weighed in at 2.8gb when done months ago. So just earlier I removed about 15 videos which I no longer wanted, now these videos were 2- 3 mins each so a fair bit a storage space was taken up by these so I deleted them all off and then went to do another iCloud backup thinking that it would remove these videos from my backup too, after doing the back up it's exactly the same at 2.8gb? The videos must have been at least 2gbs if not more ? Why didn't this number decrease?

Were they iTunes purchases?
If so then they don't get backed up to iCloud, same applies with music purchases too. Have a look in the iCloud settings and see what's being included in that backup. |

It says camera roll is 2.4 GB's, now that I've removed the videos I'm left with the 82 pictures and 2 30-40 seconds videos. And no there not iTunes purchases, there just videos I've recorded on the phone.
2.4gbs for 82 pics and 2 very small clips? Strange |

Go into Settings > General > Usage and see how much space hour camera roll is taking in there.

Image and video files remain on the iCloud backup servers for a few days after being deleted from the device.

I assume you've done another backup after removing them?
I had to reboot the handset and then do another backup to get mine to register the last time I removed a whole bunch of photos. |

Well I've just backed up again and restarted the phone but that didn't make a difference. Funny thing is it even says "next backup size" which is the same 2.8gbs ? Weird.
Might end up deleting the backup and start a fresh I think. |
