It's the same with Sophie, Abbey and Susanna - their detractors aren't going to change their minds at this late stage imo.

If that isn't "special treatment" then I don't know what is.

It's a "PR stunt" to make sure hers is the one that's fresh in the minds of those who watch ITT, rather than those of any other competitor shown previously.”

I agree 100% the last spot is always the most important spot to get it is the same on X Factor or the Voice.

And it feels like a lot of sour grapes to me. The woman only started dancing a few weeks ago, she has been amazing, it wouldn't hurt to give her some credit for once instead of picking everything about her to bits.

Back to Natalie. Again she avoided the question "What happened?" when she said she made a mistake...we wanted details Nat, come on!

On a more positive note: Could they get a more synonymous with 'Children's dance school' tune than 'Stepping Out'? (that was that their showdance tune, wasn't it? I could hardly hear it). Sticking it to the detractors and the Judges...I like their style

Not really sure why Abbey chose the QS, but hopefully she can correct the gapping issue. AND no bucket this time please

Is there any need to take that tone Mactowin? I ACCEPT (not except) that you can post what you want, I just said to enjoy what's left.

Won't bother in future mate, can't be doing with it

How is she treated in a special way ? You're entitled to not like her but making statements like that make you sound petty !

Yes.
The not so subtle ways the BBC can promote anyone, (remember they are choosing the ITT clips and can influence the public perception of who they choose), shows that the BBC have on occasions, little respect for the intelligence of some of the viewers.

Did I hear right? During A+A's segment, I think he said the showdance is after the JC. In which case, yippee, we'll get to see ALL the showdances. I imagine that they'll do the first vote after the showdances, which seems only fair, and then the remaining dancers will do their own choice of dance

'Twas ever thus. It's why I rarely vote. I dislike being manipulated, especially when it's so blatant.

Yes we do get to see all the showdances, then we lose 1 of the couples before their own choice

Thanks. So looking forward to this.

I'm guessing Natalie will deliver the best showdance of the finalists. I'm struggling to see how Alijaz can choreograph to Sweet Child of Mine, did they say it would be a paso/tango fusion?

Not expecting much from Sophie or Susanna, I think it will one of these two to get voted out first. Possibly Sophie as she's not doing the tour.

I think the judges want to see a progress, how she'll dance it with all the experience she got on the show. With Abbey it was the same, too.

I'm interested...why should that affect the way the public votes?

TPTB must really think that some of us are naive.

Even if Natalie dance the best showdance like you say, I still don't think that she can beat Susanna or Sophie with the votes.

Just about to ask the same question mimi - if the judges were involved i could maybe see a bit of manipulation but its all down to the public and i doubt they will be voting for who is going or not going on tour?

I think we all know the judges' scores are utterly irrelevant at this point. As is the tour.

So, you think she's a great dancer that deserved all those tens then? And hardly a word of negative crit at all?

If you do, then that's your opinion, mine is that it's very obvious that they have built her up to rival Susanna because of the popularity factor.

And I'm perfectly entitled to both think it and say it.

Thinking she wasn't treated with kid gloves and wasn't overmarked, seems to me rather unobservant.

IIRC, In past years, viewers have reported 'problems' getting through on their favourites phone lines.

Yes, some fans have got engaged tones and have thrown their conspiracy dummies out.

I must agree with you especially about that Samba even the bits they chose to show on ITT had real faults for all to see and how anyone could think that a 10 dance is beyond me .

So she does get special treatment such as over inflated scores

I'm so confused (not really). A few weeks back the opinion was she was being built up to make it appear as if Natalie had a rival in the dance stakes.

Honestly, the stuff that gets thought up on these forums...

ETA: If you're around Monk, does that mean we finally have the full performance review up? I'll pop over and take a look.

It'll be up tomorrow. Hopefully. Results Thursday and then the real important stuff (Best Safety Sex-Face Voting) up on Friday.
