Unlikely, though she looked good she didn't look that fast to me (and the almost 15 years age difference will probably show also; doubtful she can perform it on Jay's pace).
Did Peter's Biggins slot move up to today. They advertised earlier in the week that it would be Jay's. I could just see Peter's PR team getting his slot moved up to get maximum publicity for his album release.

I thought Aliona was her usual self and Jay was quite relaxed, although I thought he looked a bit awkward when Zoe brought up his previous dance experience. He went quiet and kept his eyes lowered when Aliona was speaking. I know he's 25, but he does come over as much younger. He looks so much better with his hair cut. I can see his appeal as part of a boy band now, but not when his hair was long. The long hair did make him look older though.

Are you talking about the 'His talent is huge' remark? Because Jay was clearly trying not to snigger/stop himself laughing, his was biting the inside of his cheek at one point, there lurks a smutty mind there.

I think you've misinterpreted that bit. As others have said, Zoe says (twice) he's a boy with a HUGE talent and he is trying not to laugh at the innuendo. Zoë realises and is obviously suppressing the sniggers too. I think it passes Aliona by and she tries to answer the question properly, then when she says '..kind of sh....ady', Jay says, 'thought you were going in a whole other direction there!', cutting the tension and Zoë and crew burst out laughing. (I think in that moment Aliona thinks she's somehow the butt of the joke, bless her)

I wish we had access to more training footage to get a better idea of how the celebs are doing. Katie didn't look particularly good last night on ITT - admittedly it was probably early days - but I couldn't judge whether it was because she just wasn't able to loosen up enough to do justice to Latin or poor choreography (or a mixture of both). If she goes from the top of the leaderboard last week to near the bottom this week then I think she could be in danger

Yes and because Anita looked around for something and only had the cups made it funnier again. She made a fair bit of noise with those cups, imagine she did have something bigger to throw BOOM!

Tension? He was killing himself laughing at Anita throwing the cups & she took it really well too laughing at herself.
It's weird how so many can watch the same show and get completely different impressions. I find Anita & Gleb amongst those with the most natural chemistry. She takes mickey out of his whole sex God status & he laughs at her quirks.

That was exactly it.
She wasn't annoyed at any kind of nudge nudge wink wink thing, that people think was going on between Zoe and Jay, she just didn't get that Jay thought she was going for a different sh- word and that was what made everyone laugh.
Although she professionally ignored the huge talent innuendo she did do a tiny laugh/smirk which suggests to me she still has a sense of humour about it and that her partnership with Jay hasn't changed for the worse

Anita and Gleb came across well IMO. He did the 'you want me to take my shirt off?' to play along with Zoe, and looked very comfortable with Anita and was happy for her to do most of the talking - good idea!
He may have thought initially that he was in for a short stay, but he's getting a great chance to become popular, and I think he's doing much better at that now.
I love Anita's go-for-it attitude.
Zoe was at her best last night and it really was a show that highlighted how good she can be. Her interactions, the cape hitting her in the face, the big talent innuendo, going in for a kiss when Ian had to select his favourite celebrity dance..... brilliant!
Aliona looked fine, and I double checked - it was skorts ie. shorts that look like a skirt. Nice legs...... .............

Oh yes - excellent training section from Ian and he and Zoe are an excellent duo.
Great to see Jay loosening up and we are starting to get to see that he is a lot of fun to converse with when he's relaxed.
