The original plan would appear to be that yes they were clearing the field for Tamera...but if you think about what most closely resembles Melanie. I think Melanie would have been like Sam B and Nick and appealed to their demographics the most. Therefore I think they weren't clearing the way at all for Tamera but rather Sam Bailey I think.

This is the usual feeling I have regarding her. She is a bit of a procrastinator, there seems to be no rush in her getting material out there. Its very frustrating, I mean who is advising her. She should have from day one leveraged her social media following, this is clearly not happening to the degree I think she should. If she doesn't release the original song next month it'd be bad for her, as I expect social media audience are already are becoming apathetic about her career, your buzz feed would confirm that in real nunbers..…..rant over.

Its fine, I only posted my rant coz frustration got the best of me. I just hope she has a solid plan in the background because it ain't easy to get 60k followers, they are easier lost than gained. Unsigned Artists are either headhunted or signed because of the buzz surrounding them, she can influence one of those routes, its just that I think she could do it more aggressively.

I actually feel sorry for Tamera they had most of us fooled that she was indeed the plan A but after those comments from Louis I feel so bad for her. I actually hope she can make it through tonight. Despite the lyric slips over the past two weeks other than forgetting the lyrics she has been at her best lately.

Although it may look like a clean sweep Sam victory at the moment this season has been somewhat unpredictable other than that so I'd say just maybe we could have a dark horse come out and take it.

I kinda felt bad for Tamera getting that audience reaction considering how popular she was when she started out.

if she keeps forgetting the words they will force out of the show like they did with Frankie , XF producers are ruthless people , they fact that she was their chosen one at the begining won't count for anything , Now that she is embarrassing them by how bad she is

I doubt the producers particularly care about forgetting words, it's not like that would matter in a studio anyway. And comparing Frankie's situation and Tamera's situation, it's a bit different. Artists forget their words in low key concerts all the time anyway.

She's not exactly bad anyway, in my opinion the last 30 seconds of that song was absolutely magical. She can hit the right notes which cannot be said of Rough Copy in particular.

However, I still think Mel and Relley would have been better choices overall. Going by the JH performances I think they made the right choices with Hannah and Tamera but they've been handled really badly in the lives.

It's just hit me that the live shows are almost over now and people are still coming into this thread to show there support to Mel I am so please with how active this thread has been dispute Melanie being long gone from the competition.

Watching it all last night, I just knew that Hannah was done for once Tamera got through.

Looking at the next theme, Melanie would've been terrific at the song selection by the public app thing.

I think it was a given for Hannah anyway tbh and Tamera's support over the weekend was quite immense. I don't think it was the right result though as Tamera has, to be frank, been a bit of a disaster. She's far too young I think.
