Why would they think that they thought they planted them? unless they did plant them?

Zak was a fair payer throughout. The nicest host this week by a huge margin.

Another harsh underpayment.

He's better off not winning and keeping his self respect.

Zak should have won this.

So true. He did not deserve to be last.

They all take this way too seriously at times, it does make me laugh.

I wonder whether Mrs T feom earlier seasons is still in business? She was fun.

Definitely . And by portraying himself in an attractive and favourable light at the same time he'll have no doubt done his business a lot of good. As for some of the others....not so.

Absolutely. He'll do very well out of this because people will feel sorry for him. Especially as his place was so nice. I bet he will be the real winner financially in the long term.

He hated women and yelled at Jane to shut up, so 'nice' isn't a word I'd use to describe him.

He scored fairly, paid on the mark and apart from his one outburst (which was probably understandable if you saw the whole situation) conducted himself very well. He's the one I'll remember from this week.

This week is also hairgate week. Am surprised they didn't suggested Jane and Amy were shedding hairs as they went and am even more surprised that they didn't use the clip of the breakfast table cloth and knife in Rhyl.
As Normandie said, I just don't think Elvira's reviewed her housekeeping procedures, or indeed her prescription at Specsavers.
They should've had someone else look with fresh eyes.
We do just regular housekeeping at home but when anyone's coming to stay we check each other. Mr S has always been long sighted and I'm short sighted. He now wears glasses for reading and I don't need them, so he peers up at the coving and I check the close cleanliness. We're like Jack Spratt and his wife

Yes, her. Looks like she's out of business. She was certainly a memorable character.

I don't know why they claim people to making things up. Surely they know it'll be on camera!?

I think there needs to be more bad bnbs. Ones where low marks are justified!

Zac didn't tell her to "shut up" - he told her to "stop talking!". She'd asked him a question, which he was trying to answer - but she kept butting in, rephrasing the question and driving him mad - I thought he was very restrained under the circumstances - I WOULD have told her to shut it! His remark about hating women was also made under pressure, and it's quite clear he didn't mean it as his entire staff is female!

I think the two harpies went overboard on the hair hunting, and their reactions to anything they found were just so far OTT they were beyond a joke. As Mike said after reading his feedback - if the issues they raised on the forms were so bad - they wouldn't have been willing to come back.

I'm glad that the ladies didn't win - their behaviour was just silly and they didn't deserve it!

The real winner for me also, and let's not forget that it was his over-payment to Mike that secured their win. Bet Jane thought she had it in the bag up to that point. tee hee..

Ever since 3IAB and 4IAB started, I don't think the programmes have done anything to further the cause of B&Bs as somewhere to stay. All it's done, apart from a few exceptions (Butterfly Dave, G!, Zack and a couple of others) is portray hundreds of B&B owners as inept, spiteful, nitpicky, vindictive and deluded.

Double tee hee!

I didn't think for one second that Zak really meant he hated women. It seemed like he was making a jokey comment because he works with all women.

Thank goodness hair-gate and pointing at said hair/s with disgusting plastic nails is over. Those two can pick up their designer bags with their nasty nailed hands and f e c k off! TBH I'm in awe of anyone who can keep their place hair free. I certainly wouldn't want to have a B&B and have the FIAB lot round. We have have a dog and there always dog hairs somewhere! Run a B&B and keep pets? Nooooooo! Much kudos to Normandie who does both.

Depends. Cheats and/or nasties might get a bad name/publicity.

Joint last. Coming second is better than coming joint last. Even to the last, that Jane was a snipey cow.
