I enjoy this show more when you have idiots on like this week! Who wants to watch all smiles and 10/10s? It's better getting cross at the ridiculous scores and laughing at their poor advertising.

And how!!! Lynn and Simon are driving me nuts! Move ON! Clearly they are determined to win by under-paying so I think the outcome is a foregone conclusion, but they really haven't done themselves any favours with their non-stop sniping.

Well, I think tonight's place was the best I've seen on FIAB. Beautiful rooms and very nice hosts. Lynn's comments about Nikki have been nasty all week, with no justification IMO. Lynn and her husband are horrible altogether. Who would want to stay at their place when they've seen how thoroughly unpleasant they are, regardless of what their B & B is like?
I think tonight's place should have received full payments from everyone, if they were being honest and fair, but I know they haven't been.

Lynn and her husband are bitter bitter game players. Terrible!

Well it's obviously a two horse race between the first hosts, the nasties and todays good guys couple, i'm afraid this will have a bad ending as the nasty pasties want the win more going by that under payment comment at the the end.

^^^ They have both been lovely. They're the nicest people this week and their hotel looked very good.

Apart from the odd daft comment, Amanda and Peter have been ok.

John is just totally daft.

But Simon and Lynn have both been horrible this week. Lynn's constant comments about Nicky alluding to her weight are downright nasty and nothing to do with FIAB. Simon joined in by calling her clumsy. Was that for tipping over the egg? Yet he said on the feedback form that the egg cups were poor. It also looks like they've vastly unpaid. Meanies.

[quote=SolarSail;77555200]At £120 per night you should be able to have exclusive facilities really even if not adjacent to your accommodation. What I did take note of was the sign urging people to let families with young children take priority in the early evening, so not only is it not exclusive but there will be times when facilities are unavailable for some guests QUOTE]

I missed that sign. Then that is even worse. Surely if you have multiple yurts, there have to be multiple toileting facilities? How can they possibly expect their guests to share one toilet and one shower between 6+ complete strangers? And even when not strangers, that's a lot of bottoms to rotate. Each yurt absolutely has to have its own toilet. End of.

I want it too. Shall we pair up and steal it? You get the sentence, I keep the door. Sounds like a fair deal, right?

Horrible couple and not very subtle.

If I were looking for accommodation I would avoid theirs just because of them, regardless of anything else.

It's lovely round here and not quite as flat as many believe. Spalding is an attractive and interesting place, lots to see.

Pretty much my thoughts.

I'm blaming Production again, I bet they don't normally use those egg cups because they are notoriously unstable.

I loved it too and I live nearer so na na na nanana!

I kept thinking too that the yurts need to have at least their own toilet - who doesn't need to go during the night? There's no way I will be trekking across the grass in the dark.

[quote=Normandie;77550517]She's right, though. I think it's why they don't appeal to me - that and a trek across a field to the loo and communal showers.

But they are the product she's selling was my point, I know she's right.

Some - lots - of people design, 'manufacture' and market products they don't use or want themselves. Nothing wrong with that. Providing they are delivering a quality product to people that want it, I don't see the problem.

----------

And referring back to the comments about Nikki not being a good waitress, I doubt she ever does that - if she's the manager of a property that has 15 rooms - so possibly 26+ people if they're full - they'll have waiters/esses... and I suspect Nikki isn't one of them.

Lynn and her husband are nasty game players. Their reaction to John winning the task was ridiculous.
Today's place was nearly perfect and really shows that John's place isn't worth anywhere near £110.

I must admit i am SHOCKED at her attitude. She really has come over as a spiteful nasty egotistical bitch.... The reaction to John winning the competition.......(thats 2 he has wone lol)....

I thought this last house was the best, beautiful and the price knocked me over for what they get elegance simply lovely.

ALTHOUGH I will say one thing that glass/perspex top on the table, we would not have allowed it in our hotel I worked at. It might be reinforced etc, but its not a good idea. Thats the only thing i would have agreed with.

The breakfasts were served within 12 minutes which is brilliant considering their was crew and cameras everywhere......

Those eggcups we have them, I have MS and I cant ever remember an egg falling out of one lol.....I think she was simply nervous because of all the cameras and crew behind her....bless her.

I think the spiteful comments by Lynne about her weight is going to destroy her and serves her right. They forget this goes onto T.V. and people watch it.

God they are going to win, it will be the worse win of FIAB if they do. Horrible nasty women. I hope she reads this.

What I take away from Lynne's sniping about Nikki is that if she bitches like that behind someone's back knowing the comments will be broadcast, she is just as likely to bitch about real guests and their size, their face, their dress sense... whatever she takes against.

They've shown themselves to be unpleasantly two-faced - would anyone who has watched the show trust Lynne and Simon as hosts?

For those of us old enough to remember Fannie Craddock's TV career was totally ruined by her downright unkindness to a woman on a long-ago reality TV show, it is all about how you present yourself and IF Lynne had anything constructive to say it would have been edited out, the producers must have considered her to be TV gold, not in a good way I hasten to add.

Otherwise I have to agree with your comments, Lynne has to be like that all the time, cannot cut it back even when she knows she will be appearing on national TV. She did make me laugh however when her husband was going to award a 7 (for something I now cannot remember) she knocked him down to 3 and her face was a revelation, what a cow

I defended Lynn after her reaction to john's comments - but boy were the rest of you right about her - she really is a complete superbitch, and i hope like hell that she doesn't win tonight - but sadly can see it happening - the usual nasty pair go first then shaft all the others!

I see former 4inaBedder, Danny Lambo is on the Daily Mail site in some crazy story about a bath full of chocolate milk for his latest girlfriend.
He was quite sweet, no pun inintended but is another who craves publicity.

He's a 4inaBedder? When was that? The name does sound familiar.

How could you forget Danny Lambo? He drove around in one of his Lamboghinis and his place was errr....different. He had breakfast made next door and carried it through to the dining room!

He was sort of annoying but midly loveable at the same time.

she is a complete bitch!! but her husband is not much better so they are well suited!!

i dont think i've ever gotten so annoyed at a tv show before when i saw how they both behaved about john performing (as was asked and totally got into the spirit of it if you ask me) for the photo shoot and then winning!!

horrible, HORRIBLE pair!!

His place is called The Pavilion, weirdly I can find it by Googling 'The Pavilion London Danny Lambo' but then can't get a link to work here.

T.A. Reviews (top one) It seems to currently have half marks.

It was all quite a shambles as I recall? but he was a decent sport and I remember him from that week's Pig Agility activity when he became more likeable

Episode 51 of Series 2.

I can hardly bring myself to watch tonight as that nasty pair ensure they win by underpaying. [I will, though!] My only consolation is how much they have shown themselves to be underhand and deeply unpleasant, so it will, I hope, be a hollow victory.

I blame him as much as her because although she usually initiated the bitchiness, he supported her in it.

I was going to say don't rely too much on the website because it says he's 29 but to be fair it's quoting a press release from 2007
A Daily Mail article (from January this year) about the 'playboy' says he's 37...his company director history on the web confirms he was actually born in 1967.

The latest article rehashes a lot of the same old, same old, but it's also publicising his new show 'The Broker'.

Now what was it we were saying about people who just want to be on reality TV time after time?
