I just popped over to say EXACTLY what you did

Mary, despite being a bit scatty and rather airy-fairy about her offering, was actually a nice, fair person who had the grace to offer a public apology for her OTT reaction.

I liked her

Jacqueline 'I'll break your stuff then penalise you for it' was an arse

Jacqueline, when the winners' plaque was being handed over 'We're all winners, at the end of the day'. Except you're not. You lost.

I think the two women just rubbed off on each other. (The older two, Mary and Jacqueline). Trouble is we dont know what goes on behind the scenes.

I dont think at first Mary did herself any favours with her attitude, but redeemed herself on her very good pricing.

Jacqueline well I am not sure why she spoke the way she did. She seemed to start off ok, then went down hill. I just wonder if something happened we didnt see perhaps? For someone who teaches Shiatzu she sure doesnt have the right temperament for it. Not sure what happened there.

However, I agree with her about the things broken, not about the Health & Safety rubbish, BUT the guys were rude IMHO, these things are used, and the item could have been broken with the visitors before i.e. coffee maker. They looked cheap rubbish. The shower well it did flood out, and actually when you look at the chair that was broke it look old to me. It had a cover over it, perhaps to make it look better then it was. They should have just said nothing, or at least said they were sorry for the inconvenience then sucked a lemon. My friend runs a B&B and things are constantly been broken. She has never once accused her guests, like she said her rooms are used all the time, so a lot of it is fair wear and tear, and she factors it in her pricing.

To be honest I wouldnt have stayed at any of the places.

The most shocked for me was the £30 underpayment by the second couple. Jeez i was really shocked over that. So not warranted. I knew Jacqueline would underpay so that didnt shock me at all, but the 30.00 did. I thought it was ludicrous. The room looked really nice to me. On a par with theirs.

Oh well cant wait for next week now lol.

Do the B & B couples, pay the others out of there own money, or does the Productiob Team give them the money to pay.

If it comes out of there own pockets, is it possible the production team pays the difference

One of next week's places is the naturist hotel that Alex Polizzi went to in the Hotel Inspector. Yuk! Don't tell me that isn't a hugely niche market!

No, she didn't but the worm couple. They and Jacqueline all over-reacted to her flippant attitude. Just like she did to the worm! After the worm incident, the couple got knickers in a twist. They took against Mary and imagined all sorts of things - like a low payment, hence their underpayment for no reason whatsoever. Jacqueline didn't like Mary full stop. Her snipey comments were disgraceful.

Even after Mary's very fair payments neither were very gracious.

Here's summat to peruse in readiness forMonday......

The contest begins at stately home Anstey Hall in Cambridge, where co-owner John de Bruyne's stories of royal connections leaves Mark and Layla less than impressed.

The second visit of the competition is to clothes-free Clover Spa and Hotel in Birmingham, where owner Tim Higgs hopes to convert his rivals to the joys of naturism.

The contestants travel to the Angel Hotel in Coleford, Gloucestershire for the third day of the competition, where a treasure hunt organised by hosts Mark and Layla brings out their guests' competitive sides. Meanwhile, there is confusion at breakfast and Layla's manners are criticised.

The final stay is at Higher Gitcombe in Totnes, Devon, where owners Paul and Lynnie Jolly set out to spoil their guests rotten, but are accused of giving out special treatment.

On the final day of the competition, the owners of Anstey Hall, the Clover Spa and Hotel, the Angel Hotel and Higher Gitcombe meet for the last time to find out what they have been paid and settle some scores. Having aired their issues, the winners are announced.

Wasn't there a naturist place on the episode in Spain or France?

I quite liked Mary. Her overpayments showed she wasn't playing a game - unlike our friend Jacqueline who was quietly spitting feathers when she didn't win.

The best place did win though. The first couple deserved to win IMO.

I liked her too. There was no reason whatsoever for the the Old Bullers and Jacqueline to try and demonise her. And as I said before none of them had the grace or decency to acknowledge just how fair she was.

Jacqueline muttered something Mary's payment being ok 'under the circumstances'. Wonder what she meant?! Couldn't she just have said thank you and smiled?!

I think Jacqueline's comments about the broken items were probably the definition of chutzpah - break them, then underpay on grounds of health and safety because they are broken!

I think her point was that they shouldn't have broken in the first place. The chair certainly looked worn and I assume the coffee machine wasn't being maltreated.

EXACTLY. They should have just accepted it, these things happen the customers are always right. These machines break, and I really thought the chair looked old to me lol.

Jacqueline was just downright nasty. Not a nice person at all. Mary on the other hand, worm over reaction apart, seemed a nice, genuine person that suffered from the heinous crime of being a bit posh.

I think the guys said that the coffee maker was new. If that was the case my immediate reaction would be 'oops, must have been faulty. I'll take it back' instead of pointing the finger. Mind you, by the time they were all round the table they'd probably sussed Jacqueline out and were not in the mood to give the benefit of the doubt.

The coffee maker would have been a classic situation for the defence you never, ever hear used though...well if you don't believe me we can get production to play it back for you as it's all been filmed!

A female guest kept asking him for a wake up call. He said, you want a wake up call darling, you could lose a little weight.
