Goodness knows.
The last bit I really remember him doing was when he examined the bed and then said he'd sleep on the floor.
That struck me as most odd.

Same as making a fuss about a hair on his breakfast plate and then petulantly turning down the offer of a fresh plate of food.

Something definitely went on (or should I say off) with him right from the very start.

I assumed the mattress was too soft. If he had a bad back it could well be more comfortable on the floor - though we had heard nothing about it up to that time.
Now Raj is out of the picture I wonder if the Shanklin couple will come out as the game players - some of their comments over the week seemed rather over picky but were overshadowed by Raj's nonsense.

I don't think we'd have missed hearing about a potential bad back Shrike - didn't see much evidence of any problems when he was sabotaging the raft building/racing.

Usually people comment that the mattress wouldn't be good for my back, but Raj just seemed unpleasant about it - unless of course, he did explain further and it was edited out.

From the glimpse I saw it didn't seem as though it all goes smoothly tonight. We shall see.

What was all that nonsense about painting the shower tiles? He said he did it as a prank, but it's mentioned on his Tripadvisor entry, so he must have done it at other times. Bizarre.

She's a B&B landlady, not a model. I thought she looked friendly and approachable and that is good enough for me.

I think he was just being difficult because the landlady of that hotel had refused to sleep on his bed, a tit-for-tat sort of thing. The guy is a moron (hope I don't get banned for saying it, I've only just got back )

That's what I thought and thankfully many people don't worry about superficial things like that either.


That was exactly what I thought when I saw him do it, very childish.

She does not have to present herself as a model but I agree that she needs to at least do something about that untidy mane of hair, its like straw - peroxide and long hair are not a good combo for middle aged women. Her property is lovely, she is lovely but her appearance lets her down. She's a business woman dont forget because B&B is a business, you have to make an effort. She looks like she never brushed it all week, at the very least she should have tied it back while cooking the breakfast. She's have had to if working in a cafe/restaurant.

Maybe his wife got decided he was bringing their place into disrepute and told him to get back home stat.

On trip advisor his Mrs is mentioned several times.

I don't disagree about tying it back when cooking lots of them don't though which I find quite horrible, but her hair looks a bit like mine at the moment can only say the menopause is not kind to every one and I am hoping when it's over I will get my nice hair back !

I am hearing you, molliepops! One time if I had a blow dry at the hairdressers it would last me a few days, now I'm lucky not to have to get the straighteners out the next morning! My hair is soo frizzy all the time and the hot sweats don't help. In fact that lady's hair reminded me of my own so much last night I found myself feeling quite sorry for her, but I agree she should really tie it back when cooking.

I find this week interesting, it seems to me that this week they went from one B&B to the next in one week. Where as in the past i always got the impression it was filmed over a much longer time period.

Is it over a long period or do they actually go from one to the next in one week?

It really did give the impression this week that they went from one to the next (to me) which is strange in terms of the new B&B owner having time to "spruce" it up.

someone on the 4 in a bed facebook page is claiming raj spent the night in the cop shop, no more details or proof though

From what I've read from past contestants its over two weeks with maybe just a morning to 'prepare'. I expect the next hosts rush home whilst the previous host reads through the feed back forms, maybe the other guests have an overnight stay before pitching up at the next host.
It's possible this week was over a shorter period though, as the B&Bs were so close to each other, with just the trip from Isle of Wight to Cornwall being significant.
I doubt Raj had long to paint his showers which would explain why they hadn't dried out. I really can't believe that was a joke, he was just trying to bluff his way out of a silly error.

I think the earlier reviews were under different management or owners.

The earliest reviews in 2011 mention 2 other people as running the hotel and then Raj's name starts to come into the comments in 2012 and then suspiciously comes up in just about every comment after that.

Rajs disappearance is linked to his appualing behaviour off screen that we havent viewed. No official information is out there on the internet as of yet. But when they do come to light. I think it will be the end of FIAB!!!

I demand to know what happened with Raj. I do believe he was arrested

Evening All, have been watching not typing.
I said to Mr S that I have a strong feeling in my water that something happened between Raj and the girls right from the off and that I think it was something totally untoward.

Don't think I can bear much more DS change this week, it seems something changes every single time I come on here.

Been following this week not in depth but I was surprised to see Raj not at the payment bit. What happened to him?
