I find Tim a really strange person, who makes me feel extremely uncomfortable.

Also, he is hypocritical when he criticises others for things for which his own gaff is not A1. eg breakfast.

His comment about a woman drinking a pint is so ridiculous and absurd, I hope it is raised on payments night.

He is clearly the game player of the bunch, and it will probably come back and bite him on his (naked) bum.

I agree Solarsail...I suspect also as is so often the case that it was the drink talking.

I find people who make personal and derogatory remarks to make people uncomfortable worse but hey ho. And not holding her drink has something to do with it..

Edit; well if that's hypocritical, no establishment can ever criticise another for anything!

Every opinion I have; every remark I make you have to criticise. Why you are attacking everything I post, and accosting me verbally I don't know.

Just be sure that I have put you on ignore, so there is no point in answering anything else I post, and have also reported your unreasonable and intolerant stance to DS.

We do often see hypocritical feedback, lots of do as I say, not do as I do on the forms.
A lot of feedback is badly expressed too, or, it's presented in such a way as to offend or seem ridiculous i.e. instead of saying that a room needs thick and interlined curtains to help block out noise at night, they'll say it's on a very busy road. The owners then retaliate with 'it is where it is, we can't move the building' and it comes across as a bit silly.

Mark and Layla made the right kind of response to some of their feedback, say about the noisy plumbing. They acknowledged the old rambling building and that there are inherent difficulties, but said they'd get the problems looked at.

From experience I pay less and less attention to the feedback forms really. We all know they're pushed into picking up on small things that no one would usually mention.
The whole proof of the pudding is how we feel they've played it when they part with the cash.

Excuse me I posted before you did. Does everybody have to always agree with you? You have no right to lecture or say what others should or should not post on a public forum.

Nancy, when you post is it possible that you can attach your comments to the post you are responding to. It's a bit confusing as I for one would like to know who you are replying to. Thanks.

I think he mentioned the burp(ing) language and the fact that she had a pint.
I think he doesn't think she's elegant or ladylike enough. She made the mistake of thinking she was with friends rather than guests I reckon

I'm not that worried

Thanks Erinna.

A club on site going on until that time in the morning would've definitely cost them marks I think. I wonder how much call there is for late night clubbing in Coleford? perhaps it only runs at the weekends?
Its very popular from what my sister in law tells me, there isnt much else in Coleford apart from The forest of Dean and wild boar. its a market town, with lots of walks and cycling, so i dont think there is much entertainment there to be honest. They go there for meal sometimes its a good meal.

That was definititely rude.

Yes, it is. Wonder how she'd have taken it if someone had made a jokey comment about her getting her tits out. Also, working in the naturist industry, Tim is probably all too aware of the diplomacy required. He knows from his own business that it is rude and out of place to comment on other people's bits! She needs to get some manners and get that ring or whatever it is out of her lip! Yuk!
To be honest i dont want to get into a thing about Tim etc, but I do think she was quite rude to him last night. She knew it too, as she almost put her hand over her mouth afterwards. What she said was totally uncalled for.

This is a programme, and it shows The Angel Hotel and they are Managers they dont own it, therefore she needed to behave herself accordingly.

I was actually quite shocked at what she said, and it was rude and childish.

I dont know why people have it in for Tim to be honest as I quite like him. It seems from the posts on this thread that no other B&B proprietors are actually taking apart but him lol.

I actually like The Angel Hotel, it seems well run, to be fair, BUT when your a representative of a chain of hotels you have to watch your Ps & Qs lol.

I must admit i loved the elephant towels they kind are funky lol.

I am looking forward tonights.

Actually on The Angel Hotel website they are showing a 4INBED PLAQUE.

Like I said Lucy, I do know Coleford a bit.
Good to hear the food's nice there.

BTW could you alter your last post and put your last remark in Spoiler tags please, it's a shame to give away the week's result before we've even seen episode four

He is the worst one of the week, the score last night was unfair and he is obviously desperate to win.

Those breakfasts looked lovely! I would love to have something like that, not only in the morning either.

Apropos of nothing really did you notice that the two Johns' surname is the same as the new Manchester City football player! (He's from Belgium) Doubt they're related though.

That's a lot of freebies to have. How cheap are their costs if they can make profit on those rooms with those freebies? Unless they don't?
