On payments, Derek doesn't deserve to be slagged off. None of them do. A joint first and a joint second was good for all of them.

The other two sites owned by the Saunders are residential park homes only (plus the residential area at Foxhunter).”

I work on site, it's Foxy's not roxys 😂 in high season it offers basic breakfast supplies, cooked bacon rolls ect and some basic toiletries, there is a shop only 5 mins away, aswel as a supermarket, McDonald's and table table. The bistro offers breakfast from June to September, this is because as you said we have more owners here than holiday makers, this is only our first year with hoeseasons...personally I think our park was the best, and 3 no's is offensive

I wanted to like the chap on his own but when he under paid Foxhunter by £28 I went right off him. What an utterly ridiculous amount that was and all for what, a tiny bit of grease on top of a kitchen cupboard! The final result was idiotic and I think the Foxhunter should've won. I am no fan of camping but that was definitely the best of the bunch. Oh and Amber, reality is calling you.

What a dreadful outcome, the guy on his own didn't deserve to win, if it was a campsite for families there was no entertainment, and like I said previously having been a Scout for years, I've seen some Scout Assocation campsites with more.

Foxhunter in my eyes would have been the best stay. But there again not perfect.

It would have been ok, for a caravan Park if it was mainly looking at the adult side.

Just because there is a Supermarket near, doesn't mean you can't have a shop, you would expect to have a place onsite you could buy a paper, basic foods, possibly enough food where you could get a day or twos food.

Didn't like Foxy's, looked totally un family oriented, no ranks f tables, too clean, if you dropped anything on the floor, you can imagine being Sargent Majored back to your accommodation..

This week has not worked for me, it is like the production team, thought what can we do for a change.

Ambers and the stately home setting, could have been done during s normal week.

Can't see them doing a week like this again

I wouldn't be offended just because 5 people aren't into caravan parks. They aren't everone's cup of tea after all.

As it turned out it wasn't for me either but good on them for trying it out. It suggests them listening to feedback which can only be good.

I noticed they'd tweaked the graphics and plaque to Four In A Camp Bed so maybe it was a trial run to see how well it was received before deciding on whether to start spinning off into other non-traditional B&B areas.

Must admit as the week went on I warmed to posh Nick. He took it all in his stride and seemed to genuinely like being involved in it all for the fun and experience. His approach to criticism was good too.

The Patsy Stone wannabe sister was a pain in the neck. Maybe there's a programme on botox going wrong she could appear on next.

Again they did it all wrong.

How can you pitch a budget camping site with an expert place like the tower etc?

I mean it was obvious to me that the people would probably pay the full amount of 48.00 for the tent. I read the reviews on this camping site and they are really good they offer more then was shown on the programme.

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/re...asp?revid=3747

I think it needs to be like for like.

I find it the same with the B&B too, some are actually hotels, not true B&B's.

I think too the amount of money being taken off should have a proper guideline which the contestants should stick too a formula or something.

Mind you though £28.00 for a bit of grease was silly. We have had some really ridiculous underpayments in the last few weeks.

It should be based on value for money, cleanliness, breakfast etc, but taking loads of money off because someone finds a pubic hair in a bed is stupid.

For value for money Foxy was the best for me.

The one in the tower wasnt camping not really and the girl with her STYLE well sorry mismatched cutlery and plates is not a style lol....its a car boot purchase.

After clicking on link you can tell why Derek and Juile have CCTV in the honesty shop, if they keep it stocked, there shop seemed empty on the programme, maybe the guests only saw things like the shop, as it was, possibly due to Product Placement, but maybe if Hetty had seen what the shop really carried in stock she wouldn't have picked it up.

I think I may be alone here but I actually thought the tower was a bit of a monstrosity. Looked like someone had brought a kids painting of a tower to life!

Come to think of it, given that what Nick & Sheila offer was all delivered to them by a franchise company, it could be said that both of the joint winners basically just rent out bits of grass!
jazzydrury3

Should B&B tha are run by a franchise be allowed to take part, cause if I was a boss of an independent B&B, and there were some run by a Franchise I'd be livid

There are some very nice reviews at the link you provided. That campsite seems to have more than we saw on 4IAB.

Foxy was good value but the campsite and the lodges offered something extra too. The microscopes were a good idea for kids to collect stuff and have as closer look and Derek's place has the splash pool for kids.

From what was seen of this site it seemed lovely and very well kept but your post does it no favours. Close proximity to MacDonald's just might put people off!

Next week:

The contest begins at Pauline Cox's Wharfe House in Wetherby, West Yorkshire, and a visit to a local vineyard sees a clash between guest Mike Hepker and Tash Thorne.

The B&B owners visit Wortwell Hall Barn in Norfolk, run by husband-and-wife duo Clive and Jenny Aylett, but when the pair's rivals arrive, Pauline Cox and Claire Smith have difficulty locating their favourite appliance. Publicans Mike Pearce and Tash Thorne are astonished to discover they cannot lock their room's door. In the morning, some of the guest make awkward requests to change their breakfast orders, causing professional chef Clive to experience a meltdown in the kitchen that leads to a fundamental error.

http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_R...a_England.html

The contestants travel to Bath Lodge Castle in Somerset for the third day of the competition, where they are wowed by Karen and Mike Hepker's luxury castle experience. Although the guests are disappointed at the bathroom fixtures and fittings, they are given the chance to vent their emotions during an afternoon of painting in the castle grounds. Plus, tensions rise between Mike and Tash at dinner, and harsh comments at feedback lead the hosts to suspect game playing.

The final visit of the week is to The Old Lodge Hotel in Gosport, Hampshire, run by publicans Mike Pearce and Tash Thorne. Karen Hepker is disappointed with the honeymoon suite, while Clive and Jenny Aylett find a dubious looking splash guard in the shower. A boat tour backfires when Jenny struggles with her water phobia and at dinner Karen takes the opportunity to tell the others exactly what she thinks of them. But things really kick off when it comes to feedback time.

Wharfe House hosts Pauline Cox and Claire Smith begin a bitter debate, demanding to know why their beds caused such a sleepless night. Accusations subsequently fly in all directions and walk-outs look on the cards as tensions mount leading to the payments being revealed.

Yes even a kiddy splash pool. I do think the competition did not show it to its best even though it won lol.

The place you work at was the only place I would even contemplate staying at and I am not into camping by a long shot.

This whole week wasn't really as good as usual, but I suppose they had to try it.
