Shame really about the noise of the early kitchen waking up guests. They should think about that, maybe swap into that room themselves? And I agree, you don't have locks on bedroom doors in your home, but when you're letting rooms to strangers you should give them security.

Forgot to say, I hate pre-ordering and think it actually caused a lot of the confusion. He'd have been much better just coping at the time.

Everything is beneath both of them and they are very judgemental - 'Nobody is as good as us.'

We've had some posh people on this series of 4IAB and none of them were as stuck-up and snotty as these two. Maybe that's because they were proper posh folk and not trying to prove anything, whereas these two aren't really posh so they always have to show how superior they are.


Shame wifey doesn't know hold to hold a knife. She holds it like a pen. That must make her very working class! Sorry to sound snobby - just getting my own back on them! I don't really care how people hold their knives but hate it when people have pretensions to be something they're not and then make this fundamental mistake. I've seen similar people on Come Dine With Me who think they are posh and then get tripped up with their table etiquette.

Long story short- did not like, would not stay. The activity was one of the worst to date, surely!

That castle guy is a giant **** and I would rather sleep in a tent in the middle of a field than give a single penny of my money to him. He thinks he's better than everyone else, and yet doesn't seem to mind taking money from all those beneath him.

I have just read some of Mike's replies to poor reviews on Trip Advisor. He is incredibly insulting, rude and long winded.

No locks on the bedroom doors would worry me, you are staying with a house full of strangers after all, also if you were staying multiple nights I wouldn't want to go out for the day and leave all my possessions open to all.

Yeh now its getting on my nerves. 6 breakfast for godsake, my mum cooked 8 every morning lol....for her family.

There was nothing there i would drink either. Not everyone likes the hospitality drinks, so when I go I always take my Nescafe with me. I dont see anything wrong with the statement apart from it coming from Michaels mouth lol....who everyone is moaning about. lol.

The Michael knock show....... most of the posts are about him....its boring. OK so people dont like him, its not about him, its about the other guests too, who say things and complain if people listen.

This guy is a lawyer enough said.

AGAIN the producers have made a right balls up with this show. I mean how can you possibly pitch a small 3 bedroom B&B running for only 6 months to a HOTEL being run by a Manager (not even the hosts on this 4inBed). It doesnt work. Regardless of what people think about the guy (odious, obnoxious etc), some of his complaints I would have made too, and so would others.

You cant pitch a 5 star with a tiny B&B. I think the producers have lost the plot.

I have no thoughts either way about this guy, i have met a lot worse lol, his WIFE even said he can be difficult to live with lol......

Anyway, I really liked last nights B&B, loved the colour scheme, but please stop it with the mistakes on breakfast. ALSO if you have to pre order you should be be able to change it in the morning, as the meal would already be more or less cooked.

As to the activity was there one? I have no idea where they were, lost it to be honest, why cant we have a tour of the area so people can see what its like?

I am looking forward to the Castle to be honest not because its a Hotel, because i know it, have been there long time ago before it really got sorted out.

BATH is a wonderful Georgian place to visit. I hope they show some of it.

My friend runs a B&B, she wont reply to poor reviews as believe me if she did they would be worse.

She had one just the same, a couple who were trying it on and put up really horrible photos, and made disparaging remarks about her place. She was distraught, and upset because it was made up because the couple wanted to get money out of them.

What is so annoying too is trip advisor say they will take them off but they never do.

The majority of this hotels reviews were excellent.

Behind every complaint there is usually someone trying it on.

She has told me a few things which happen to her, and sometimes she just thinks it time to pack it in.

NOT EVERYONE are good people...they make a mistake and try and spoil it for the hard working people who are just after making a living and they use the Trip Advisor to be spiteful and nasty themselves.

There would be nothing for me either as I only drink nocaf, so I would just take my own, there was no need for him to comment, he expected posh speciality teas and there were none, he needs to lower his expectations rather than whinge about what they could have if they charged more.
