You are definitely right on that point! Pauline didn't seem so nice tonight.

Tonight's Mike was ok. Tash is a bit rough round the edges but overall she has a pleasant enough personality.

Jenny can't help being quiet and a bit shy. It's a good job everyone isn't as gobby and rude like Karen. That's not so posh is it? Pauline thinks she says things straight to your face. It's become popular to be one of these 'I say it as it is' people. That's just another excuse for being rude and bad mannered.

Tomorrow - having seen the preview clip, that 'posh' Mike gets on my wick. Even the tone and sound of his voice is annoying and it reminds me of Richard E Grant who comes from the same part of the world (Africa )and I love him. It's Mike isn't it? Whatever he does and says now is just ANN - OY - ING!!!!!!!!

Looking forward to tomorrow's prog. I've no idea who will win.

Tonight's place wasn't my cup of tea but to be fair to them I imagine they cater for their market well.

The whole Pauline incident with the sausage coming out later was odd. What we saw seemed taken totally out of context and so was Natasha's reaction and way of dealing with it.

I suspect we'll learn a little bit more tomorrow. There's been a bit of tension behind the scenes I think and it was interesting that they picked up on Karen being straight to people's faces rather than commenting differently behind their backs...does that mean other people have been found out?

Looked to me as though 'Tash dealt too quickly and efficiently with the late sausage-on-a-plate....Pauline wanted to make more of an issue out of 'Tash forgetting to bring the sausage-on-a-plate out with her kipper. She wanted to have to ask for it again, drive it home that it has been forgotten in error and all topped off with a nice soul-serving apology from 'Tash. She was out with the banger and then out the door before Pauline got a chance to get her moaning gear into action. I think Pauline wanted to do the full complaint-thing but 'Tash robbed her of it

Yes, I commented that after the first episode. I think it's uncanny. His nose in particular!

Its all set up, cut and fixed back together to make people look bad. I mentioned i met someone from last weeks camping its 4 days filming, and she said most of the good stuff wasnt even shown.

I like Karen, she is up front, and they were all laughing at the dinner table and enjoying themselves I didnt see any tension there at all.

As to the room she was in the Bridal Suite. JEEZ it was rubbish. I agree with her over it. Plastic tray? No way.

When i was head housekeeper of a medium sized hotel, our bridal suite was kept lovely. I even made some silk and lace bits and pieces. We had 4 poster bed, lots of little things that made it a wow when you went into the room.

When the said it was the bridal suite I thought OH what was different about it to the other rooms lol, just a bucket with some booze in it.

I have gone of 4inabed to be honest it just seems set up and contrived, and I still cant see how you can pitch a new small 3 bedroom B&B with the likes of the castle 5 star regardless if people like the people who run it or not. It makes no sense.

It should be like for like surely. Every hotel is more or less B&B isnt it.

I always thought the idea of the programme was to show small B&B in different locations and get people to check each other out and give constructive critisim, but some of it is ludicrous.

I mean why would anyone want a kipper and sausage on same plate bleurgh.......but still the customer is always right. Natasha should have said something like "oh I am sorry its just we have never had that combination before, and I totally forgot to add the sausage on the plate, just a minute i will go and get it for you....." or words to that effect.

She made such a deal about it.

As to the boat trip i think people are being a bit harsh about that poor lady feeling sick, as there are a lot of people who cant stand the sea, and at least she went and didnt spoil it for everyone else.

I agree with you i expect today we will see a few truths. The Bath Lodge Castle has a facebook page and they have taken off a few comments already....I think to be honest I would not want to piss off that Mike as I can imagine he is going to go nuts over the programme that finally came out, as he was very excited about it being shown on his page, and I think they had no idea how they would be perseved, so perhaps there is going to be on going fire works with this format yet lol.... I mean if he gets ticked off with customers reviews can you imagine how he is going to take this showing of his place and his reactions etc. Its going to be like a nuclear explosion me thinks lol...WATCH THIS SPACE.

I can't understand why some people appear to admire those who are plain rude to others in their faces as Karen was to Jenny in particular. Why is it in any way better to insult someone directly rather than behind their back?

Just because Jenny is shy, and seemed overwhelmed by the others at times is no reason to say in front of her that she has no personality. Loud and self-obsessed people do seem to think that makes them have 'big personalities' when they are just rude and inconsiderate.

Also Jenny went on the boat even though it wasn't her thing. She couldn't help feeling sick. She didn't cause a fuss or demand to return to shore and ruin the trip for the others. She just got on with it.

From what I've seen so far Jenny has been criticised and made fun of by some big-mouthed bully/bullies. These bullying, big gob types do it because they think they can get away with it. I don't think she'd ever be my best friend but she deserves better treatment than she's received. This treatment was all down to Karen. Karen and Mike - 'The big I ams'. Yet, in reality they have behaved like a pair of simpletons. Their behaviour reflects on them and their establishment. Idiots.

I hope they don't win.

I watched the last half of last night's CDWM. The hostess seemed awful. No one liked her. Who is the other awful person?

Jenny did not make a fuss about the boat trip. She didn't like it, which she revealed to camera, but she did it. She wasn't pathetic, she was, in her terms, brave. She did it because she didn't want to spoil it for the others, and she obviously didn't since they enjoyed it.

I'm not sure who the girl is - Tash presumably? Why is she obnoxious? She is a bit loud and in your face for me, and I hate those tattoos which she will surely regret when she is a bit older, but she seems harmless enough.

How true. We record CDWM and FIAB and are looking forward to tonight's episodes for the inevitable bloodbaths! 👊

The guy with short hair. You have to watch it from the beginning. He is so two faced and rude and arrogant and took up with the odious women and backed her up on everything. He is so rude I cant believe it to be honest. You really need to watch the full week...I was shocked actually......

On the first night they went for a curry. There was a woman who cried and carried on because she didn't like curry or the smell of it. Bit different to Jenny. She went on the boat and didn't cause a fuss.

I suppose the sausage should have been borne aloft on a silver platter, beneath a dome and transferred to said breakfast via tongs!
But frankly for someone who mixes Pork Sausage and Smoked Haddock or Kipper, I might have taken it on a side plate too.
Speaking of which, I would expect undyed Smoked Haddock at the Castle, not that which looks as if it was caught around Sellafield.

My main gripe against Tash is her nails. They're fine for a night out, but not for kitchen work. Those gel nails stay on for weeks and sometimes have fungal infections as a result.

I still feel that I've seen or met both Karen and Mike before, which is why I googled them.

I can understand why Jenny had a tear. Tash, Mike and Karen are very overwhelming to a quiet woman, especially when rounded upon and practically being described as boring.
A quiet demeanour does not equal lack of a personality Karen. Good thing we're not all the same and well done for the boat trip Jenny.
