Interestingly, on the FIAB FB page, amongst the many, many posts about Mike and Karen, up pops Donkey Woman, who, I hasten to add was a member of the FB page, but then stropped off in a huff when comments didn't say what she wanted them to say when her B&B aired.

Now she's back again, trying to tell everyone about the massive editing (yawn) and giving her support to Mike and Karen. She just wont accept that these tv people don't edit what actually comes out of your mouth.......

BUT they can take them out of context. Perhaps some of it wasnt supposed to be recorded who knows. I know I was told last week by a young lady who worked at Foxy or Roxy whatever it was called 4 days filming, a lot of retakes and when her boss watched the programme it wasnt anything like they expected and she told me there was loads of stuff taken out and not used. I believe her as she had no gripes.

Perhaps after 4 days of being messed about just at one place, the contestants got fed up, tired and fed up. Thats 4 days just at Foxy, so add it on for the rest, 16 hours hanging about filming.

She actually said the breakfast were not necessarily even hot......which I believe.

I also think that Karen reacted badly the other day over the frozen uncooked bubble and squeek because she was fed up and tired. She looked it too. They all did, and I think thats why their breakfasts are never right because they are retake after retake.......

You really must. I was so shocked honestly. The guy with the dreadlocks his night was terrible for HIM. He is a really nice guy, and this women treated him terribly. Worse ever.

Yes, they CAN take them out of context. But when someone blatantly say they don't have any personalities, or bang on about the different classes....however way they are taken out of context, they still said what they said, whether it was in context or out of context.

I also agree about the amount of hours it takes to do something and they would be fed up doing it over and over again. However. I know what its like to be on the go for 16 hours a day, with people watching, and you just get on with it. Because you know, at the end of the day, the reputation of yourself and your B&B depend on it.

I watched the first on your recommendation and will view the others over the weekend as I hate TV then, apart from Strictly.
The CDWM thread went, but there was a good one with the manager of Beautiful South who was a great person, a couple of weeks back. Lovely man. Can't remember who won, but on a good week, as it was, who cares?

I did read it a bit a couple of years back - Donkey woman used to post regularly then, long after her episode was on, but she used to handle jibes about her week quite well.

On Wednesday, whilst I liked some of the room details, I thought that overall they were too over the top. Especially those dust trap curtains. And the showers should have been polished, as well as water pressure needs to be much better. I also found Tash very ignorant and rude. No need to mention the creepy host sitting there at breakfast time, everyone has already done that for me.

Last night, again, Tash was being very rude IMO. The rooms were overpriced. Isn't it funny how that Castle woman, whose name I can not remember, was nowhere near as posh and contrived as when with her husband? And her posh accent kept disappearing as soon as she really started going with her conversation.

I do not get the flat- pack furniture hate though- these rooms get used a lot, it makes no sense spending loads of money on something that gets worn quickly- I would rather the investment went into good quality mattress, bedding, towels and cleanliness.

Tonight should be fun!

As you know people who have taken part Lucy, can you ask why they did it and whether they received recompense or perhaps the advertising was what they were given.

I feel like the recaps and the pointless activity take up half of the programme. We are not goldfish, we can remember what happened only 24 hours ago.

I thought those were cheap beef sausages as well. I made that mistake once. Never again.

She shovels food into her mouth. I am usually not the type to nice how others eat, unless they spit their food out or something, but her table manners actually made me gag.

I hate it when programmes treat us like we do not have the capacity to remember 24 hours ago.
