Afternoon Mimi! I can't get used to the new layout either. It's awful. I hope they listen to us and change it back.

Yeah the new layout is more of an eyesoare more than anything for me
![]() I hate it. I sent DS an email about it. Apparently a few others have as well. I don't think that they'd take any notice on the thread in General Discussion but maybe they would if people emailed them directly individually?I've just finished reading "Chart Throb" by Ben Elton. It's based on the X Factor/Pop Idol format. It's brilliant! It completely takes the mick out of it all. Well worth reading!

I just had a call from someone saying they no longer had an application on their computer. All they had to do was click Show Desktop and double click the icon.

Some people shouldn't be allowed near a computer! Did you fix it for them?

If I did that I'd get a P45.
Are all your users as stupid as that? Maybe they'd be suited to Windows 8

Morning.
Terrible night's sleep. Apparently we're due to get snow on Thursday. There goes my driving license for a while, there's no way I'd be happy driving around in it.

Afternoon! Had my first exam this morning. I think it went well. My lecturer told us the topics that were gonna come up so that helped
I've got Evidence tomorrow at 1.

Home at last. Dinner is cooking and I have a lovely cup of tea with music on Spotify. I'm listening to Ace Of Base at the moment. Quote:

Over 1000 skilled jobs to be lost at HP. That's over 1000 skilled workers who will now be competing for unskilled mcjobs. Is this to be the UK of the 21st century?

Are the making small changes to DS or am I imagining things? I'm sure that the quote section looks slightly different... Quote:
I hope so. It depends on my lecturer and how well she marks exams. I'm not gonna dwell on it though. I've gotta concentrate on Evidence. I've got Equity on Friday and I'm screwed for that as I didn't realise it was this week and I haven't done much study for it
