It's pretty convoluted but here goes.

In the first series a group of people interested in a graphic novel called Utopia which apparently spells out things that have happened and diseases that have broke out and all sorts of conspiracies come true meet on a forum and decide to meet in the flesh. The reason is that there is a part two which has vital info In it. after meeting weird happenings occur someone gets tortured and they meet Jessica Hide.

It transpires that during the cold war the soviets set up a body dealing with genetics and bio-warfare and fearing that all the governments of the world created a body called the network. The network answers to no nation and is beyond the law. They too want Utopia as it has that info need.

The info needed is that the guy who wrote Utopia created Janus a vaccine that will steralise 93% of the population and reduce the world to 500 Million.

That's it ion a nutshell.

Actually that sounds like something I should watch I know of a conspiracy theoriest who would love that show! Is it a new show?

You should it's great and. no it began last yeat and series 2 started tonight .

I think I'll watch series 1 first if I do watch it If I start watching series 2 I'll probably be really confused.

Yes plus series one is too good to miss watch out though it is very violent .

It's quite gratuitous not in the sense that it ever feels unnecessary but it furthers the plot and moves the story .
