Evening

My job interview went really well. I'd imagine that I'll hear back within a week. I don' want the job though, I want my placement to decide what they're going to do. I want to know whether or not I'm being employed by them.

if I take this job in this shop then i'm only on a 10 hour contract which is nothing. It's part-time

Afternoon

They're still being very quiet at my placement. I don't like it, I want to know what my chances are of staying. I want to know if in being strung along.

The job interview that I went for yesterday went very well. I'll be surprised if I'm not offered it. I'll have no choice but to take it as it'll be paid work but I don't want it. I want a full time job. The retail job is only 10 contracted hours and it's not enough. Plus it finishes just before Christmas....

I just want to know what's going on. It's not fair to keep somebody waiting

Evening Mimi! The Disney Society at college were showing Frozen this evening I also met a friend of mine and she told me she cried in L.A.'s office as well. Seems I'm not the only one!

Morning

What a morning! I went into my work placement whilst trying to find out what was going on with the retail job. Had to leave my placement and go to the shop to find out what was happening. It's a good job that I did because the induction was 20 minutes later.

I just hope that I like it here...

We'll it's official - I have a job. Not one that I want, but a job nonetheless. Gonna focus on finding something more permanent. I don't want to be at this place during the Christmas rush.

I am watching "Cilla" at the moment. What are you all up to?

I'm working on a presentation. I might have to give one next week. It's for a module called Law, Regulation and Policy and every week the lecturer selects about 4 students to present on some readings they have been assigned to read. I love the Masters but it is a lot of work. I have to do a lot of reading and later on write essays.

I also sorted the graduation problem. I talked to L.A. about it two days ago and she told me to go anyway even if I have seminars that clash with it so what I decided to do is apply for the tickets and then I have a choice whether to go or not. If I go fine but if I don't they'll post the degree parchment to my house. Things are looking up!

Of course it will I'm managing to keep up with my work. I'm doing two courses this year as I'm doing a Diploma in French part time and that's on Monday nights but I get homework. I did the homework today so I have the rest of the week free to do readings and prepare a presentation for next week. I hope the lecturer doesn't pick me but knowing my luck he will

Exactly. The lecturer could catch me on the hop. He's sneaky like that I saw L.A. earlier but she didn't see me. I think it was because I was wearing a hat and she didn't recognise me with the hat on. I hope she's not fed up of me because I went to her office twice in one week. I had some problems to talk to her about though

Catching up with Wednesday's Hollyoaks before the family take over to watch the Ryder Cup.

Got work later on anyway so that will get me out of the house.

How are you all?

Just been invited to an interview for what I thought was a full time job.

It's cold calling and sales.

Certainly not what I'm looking for so I've not accepted it.

Onwards and upwards.

Looking forward to 6pm when I finish my shift in retail.
