The DRM protection that is (or was on) iTunes-bought songs is lost once the songs are on disc. It's just like any other CD then. Hopefully he can sort it out, but if not what will you do?

I am gradually transferring a few video recordings to DVD, but only for a few hours once a month if that. Yesterday I thus watched the final episode of Brookside from 2003, where I was pleased that Nikki Shadwick was the last woman to see Brookside Close (although we did see Lindsey Corkhill in Newcastle just afterwards). I also watched an episode of Hollyoaks from 1999. This episode was significant for me as it was the first one since receiving a signed photo of Natasha Symms, who did indeed appropriately feature in that episode!

what are you all doing? I saw "Pitch Perfect 2" at the cinema earlier. It was okay but not as good as the first one. That's usually the way with sequels, though.

Changing my hair colour later. I'm going from dyed red to a lighter, auburn colour. I'm going to the salon later on to have my hair stripped of all colour before I can put the dye on.

It'll be interesting to see what colour it goes once it's been stripped.

I bought Meerkat Movies earlier. Cinema tickets are expensive these days so it's worth buying travel insurance for under £4 to get two for one cinema tickets is worth it.

Just spent almost an hour in a phone queue trying to reclaim my overpaid tax from October that should have come back automatically in April. They're very quick to take it away from you but they won't give it back anymore unless you chase it.

I gave up in the end and I'm going to try again tomorrow.

It's bloody terrible. Been charged emergency tax again despite the fact that I provided my p45 with more than enough time to not get charged emergency tax.
