Apple has been accused of forcing artists to comply...

LINK

Apple have far too much power, in my opinion.

Another reason to avoid Apple then.

So should I sell my Macs?! Thing is they're the best laptops on the market. No Windows laptop even matches the build quality of the Macbook Air or Pro.

Maybe just Apple music services. Macs aren't to my taste but I can't deny that they are very good.

Given this story, I would definitely boycott Apple music.

Oh ok. Well I don't really like streaming much anyway so I wouldn't be likely to use Apple Music. I've to use Spotify on my phone at the moment til I get my new iPod and it's already driving me nuts. It's a load of rubbish IMO.

Now, why am I only listening to Kacey Musgraves now? She's brilliant proper authentic country music.

Huge fan of Kacey. She's brilliant live too. I've preordered "Pageant Material" which comes out on Monday. It's easily my most anticipated album of the year. I can't wait for it to arrive. Everything that I've heard from it sounds fantastic.

Country music could do with a few more Kacey Musgraves and less of the likes of Luke Bryan or Sam Hunt. This bro country shite needs to die.

Afternoon.

I'm catching up with "Black Work" whilst waiting for dinner to cook. I'm quite enjoying it so far.

I'm not massively keen on "bro country" either.

Have you heard Sam Hunt's House Party? I think that may take the dubious honour of being my worst song ever in any genre. Awful song that left me feeling violated after listening to it (out of morbid curiosity).

No I haven't heard it. I'm tempted to find it now, though...

Be warned. Once heard, it cannot be unheard.

I've come down to the high street to give blood today but I have to wait until 3:50.

Sitting in my car listening to the radio.

What are you all doing?

Just heard it.

Far more pop than country, isn't it? Not a great song...

Oh No, I'm a massive Britney fan! I had a meeting with my favourite lecturer and I always listen to Britney songs after meeting her

Evening

What have you all been listening to lately? I've been listening to The Shires album "Brave" a lot today along with "Pageant Material" by Kacey Musgraves.

Update on Apple streaming: Taylor Swift adds "1989" to their streaming service

I'm a little surprised, given that she openly criticized them last week.

I've been listening to Pageant Material too and I really like it, especially the last few songs. It's pretty rare for an album to finish so strongly these days.

"Fine" is lovely. The Willie duet is wonderful too. It rounds off the album beautifully.

Your post in the other thread about tearing up at that song made me think of this one

Trucker Diablo - Where Angels Fly

I don't mind admitting that song and video brings tears to my eyes. I can only imagine what it would do if you had just lost someone you cared about.
