Morning
Got a job interview later on today for a supermarket chain. It's not really what I want to do but it's paid work so it's better than nothing, I suppose. I'm catching up on last nights TV whilst drinking banana and strawberry smoothie. ![]() Any plans for the weekend? I'm looking forward to meeting up with friends tomorrow evening. It's been a long time since we all went out. What are you all doing? |

I remember working in a supermarket. Hated it but it was better than nothing. I'm moving from software testing to voice infrastructure in a week so that'll be different. I have an interest in infrastructure though so it should be better.
My only plans for the weekend involve Netflix and a couple of craft beers because I have no life. Oh and I did just order my first ever turntable so that has me excited

I'm so bored. I'm sat around indoors waiting for 3:15 so that I can go for my job interview. I hate waiting around. I'd rather that it was in the morning so that I could get it over and done with.
I feel so much better when it's all over. The anticipation is horrible. |

Afternoon.
![]() How has your weekend been? I met up with some friends last night and today I'm just relaxing watching some "Harry Potter" films. I might go to radio later on this evening depending on how tired I am. I went shopping yesterday and picked up "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie" by Alanis Morissette. I haven't had the chance to listen to it in full yet but I like what I've heard so far. "Baba" is a personal favourite at the moment. What are you all doing? |

Interestingly enough, 2 songs I quite like at the moment are by acts I remember for another recent summer hit of interest!
I refer to Maroon 5 with This Summer - following Payphone in 2012 - and John Newman with Come and Get It - following Love Me Again in 2013. |

Has anyone been using Apple's music streaming service on the three month trial? If so I have a question:
I've been looking at trialing the streaming service but my issue is canceling it before being charged in three months time. I found an article online about the issue but there is no "subscription" button on my account to apply "turn off auto-renew". Others have commented on the article saying the same but I wondered whether that appears when you sign up for the streaming service. I don't want to sign up just to find out if that button appears. My details are linked to my iTunes account because i've bought things from it. I don't want to be auto charged. Anyone signed up for it who could enlighten me please? |

^ ^ So do I, Truth! Why do you think I have a DS account?
![]() I've sorted my Apple Music problem. It turns out that you have to sign up for it for the subscribe button to appear. I've turned off auto-renew. I'm quite enjoying it so far.

The festival starts at the beginning of September so I can't imagine that the lineup will be announced much before August. I've never been to the iTunes festival before. I like the fact that the tickets are free. It's a shame that the Roundhouse is so far from me though. Quote:
The turntable and preamp arrived but the speakers are coming in a separate delivery so I have to wait before trying it out

^ Great to hear.
I'm listening to the re-release of Laura Marling's "Short Movie" album. It's called the "Director's Cut" It's only a digital re-release though. I tried to search for a physical copy but it just took me to the original release from March. I'll add it to my collection at some point but for now I'm streaming it on Apple Music. She's amazing. I love her. She is one of the best singer/songwriters to come from the UK in a long time, in my opinion. |

I'm feeling a little sad after reading this - Miranda Lambert & Blake Shelton are divorcing I'm a big fan of Miranda so I know that this must be a really sad time for her. ![]() Quote:
