I know what you mean. I'm not a big drinker either. The idea of getting smashed is not in any way appealing. Some people are incredibly irresponsible with alcohol.

Another thing is find annoying Mimi is when these people who earn a wage and then piss it up the wall on booze. They have sod all to show for it, except for a headache. The amount of times i hear people my age saying "im skint" and it's 9/10 because they were out drinking the night before.

My family won't allow me. I have to celebrate with them even if I don't want to. I'll be expected to drink champagne as well and I don't want to as I need a clear head for study.

Yup. I couldn't think of anything worse than spending hard earned cash on alcohol. I really don't get the appeal.

Same here. I'd rather spend my money on music, apps, books or something more worthwhile.

I am one of those people I'm sorry. But usually I'm not that bothered as 9/10 I've had a great night with plenty of pictures and good memories to show for it aswell as raging stay in nausea and a massive headache. But not tonight I am 22 I will be mature and stay in

Live and let live, I say. I don't understand the appeal of spending lots of money on alcohol but I understand others do get the appeal which is fine. as long as you're having a good time and not harming anyone than it doesn't matter.

I never ever spend vasts amounts of money £40 usually does me. I too do not and have never understood those that spend upwards of a £100 on a night out I'd find that impossible I never know how they manage it or why they would want too

I piss all my money away on music (albums and concerts). Still, at least I have some great memories out of it

We have some as well. I have some cloudy lemonade I got from a Christmas hamper and I might drink that instead of champagne.

CNBC, i love cloudy lemonade

OMG, i have just watched a bit of The top 20 Greatest dance moments. Can you believe Madonna;s vogue was only at 20 and beaten by the likes of Single ladies, Ann widecombe's strictly sint and Gangham style. Ridiculous.

Maybe I'll try it. I hope I'm allowed to drink it. My mum has a habit of treating me like a kid and telling me what to do all the time and I hate it I wish she'd realise I'm a grown woman and not a kid any more. She'll try to get me to drink champagne but I'll try the lemonade instead.

Depends on the champers. I find the more expensive the champers is, the most disgusting it is, while the cheapest are always the best, imo.

I'm not sure what kind we have, but I don't want to drink it. I want a clear head so I can finish my essay. I have to email it to my lecturer the week before college starts.
