1. Fiona's little section in the middle of her dance was so good, I hope they show it on Len's Lens. She should dance without Anton more often!
2. Sophie was undermarked, surely? She's not as good a dancer as Abbey, but she wasn't guilty of the gapping that was apparent nearly all the way through Abbey and Aljaz's quickstep.
3. Ben is so boring! He's so handsome, and seems like such a nice guy, but Mark Benton is so much more watchable, even if that was no way a jive. (Mark's knees! Should he be dancing, if they're that dodgy? )
4. Much as I like Patrick - that dance was a dis-as-ter, darling!
5. What is Kevin Clifton on?! That leaping about was very balletic and impressive, but he and Susannah both looked positively insane tonight!

I was wondering where this thread had got to!

1) The scoring tonight had gone to sh*t. I think Darcey, Len and Bruno may have been drinking something slightly different to Craig... or vice versa.
2) Sophie was no worse than Abbey. Yet Abbey got 10s, and Sophie did not.
3) Honourable wacko-scoring mentions also go to Ben and Mark.
4) I didn't think it possible to murder a will.i.am song further, but hey, it happened.
5) Scoring and useless live props aside, it was quite a fun show tonight. I'm predicting Fiona vs Mark for the dance-off, but Patrick could also be there.

1. Kevin From Grimsby's dance credentials are even more impressive, now that I know how long he's been standing on my granny's mantelpiece, on a little plinth that says " A Present From Malaga".

2. As soon as the Twister mat was pictured, I semi expected the envy and hatred of gay men and frustrated housewives up and down the country to make Kristina explode, Scanners-style.

3. Dresden. Hiroshima. 9/11. The Black Death. And now, whatever happened to Natalie's hair. It is the best barnet in the history of follicular filamentous biomaterial. Why would you replace it with an oily dead pigeon?

4. Of all the times to do a really clumsy lift, during the line "LET'S FLY AWAY" in the song "Come Fly With Me" in an airport-themed dance while you're dressed like a pilot is definitely a good'un.

5. Len prefacing every critique with "YA'VE CAHM AHT HERE" is now making me wonder what happens if they DON'T come out here. Is a ballroom dance, done in the comfort of one's own living room, still eligible for competition purposes?

1. The marking.
2. The comments.
3. The marking.
4. Susanna and Ashley's Pasos really highlighted how important good theming and song choice are. Ashley may well have danced it better, but Susanna's seemed more right.
5. Ben is as overrated by the judges as Lisa last year. But it's almost worse here, because he just doesn't do much in any of the dances.

1 What is with Darcey pointing out a flaw in a dance (this week with Abbey, last week Patrick) and still giving a 10?
2 I probably enjoyed Abbeys quickstep the most but the marking seemed odd to me - I thought it deserved more than a 7 from Craig but because of gapping and frame issues it didn't seem worth a 10. I'd say 8 or 9.
3 I didn't think any of the dances tonight felt like a 10.
4 Don't remember anything of Sophies dance or Bens not sure why.
5 Paso Doble is so much better with more traditional music in my opinion!

1. Craig's dreadful mark of 8 for Ben's dance. Sophie and Abbey a 7

2. Maybe Ben should have took his top off, it would have given the audience and Craig something to look at...oh hold on he would have got a 9.

3. Crapgate

4. Would have preferred to have seen Natalie's Jive from last week instead of their Charleston

5. A lot of over-marking.

Totally Agree...

Hope people voted against the biased towards, abby and natalie

1) That bracing Blackpool air obviously got to the judges - the marking was all over the place tonight.
2) Favourite dances this week were Kevin and Susanna's Paso and Abbey and Aljaz's Quickstep. It was a pity Susanna's 39 was quickly undermined by Natalie and Artem getting the same score for their Charleston, which personally I didn't feel was as good.
3) Such a shame about the dress incident in Patrick and Anya's Samba as the rest of it was brilliant - and could have sneaked an early ten otherwise.
4) Felt that Fiona spent too much of her routine worrying about that final lift and it showed in her dancing. Mark did a fun jive but I think has improved as much as he's going to. They should make up the bottom two, but think we might see an appearance down there from Ashley or Patrick (maybe even Sophie?).
5) It worked for Michael and Natalie last year, but the number of routines featuring backing dancers was just silly. Thankfully the use of props was more restrained than I thought it'd be, although someone needs to take that bl**dy chair away from Brendan!

1. God I forgot how much I HATE traditional Paso's.

2. Not impressed with all the backing dancers tonight. Very distracting.

3. Felt bad for Patrick tonight with the wardrobe malfunction.

4. Someone please put a gag on Bruce! poor Mark.

5. I think Abbey only got all those 10s because the other judges decided to compensate for Craig.

Fair point! You've made me laugh!

1. Sophie and Brendan were undermarked.

2. Abbey loves herself too much.

3. Natalie is just not popular.

4. Mark is possibly the most entertaining.

5. It was a great show, shame about Bruce.

1. Worst programme of the series - with the exception of Craig (even he got carried away with Ben) ridiculous overmarking throughout - not one dance was actually worth 10 but clearly they had made up their minds to give them beforehand.

2. Kylie might need extra dancers to act as a distraction, Strictly doesn't.

3. Ben - same old story, three lifts and not much else, overmarked - sorry Craig but I must have missed him 'motoring' around the dancefloor.

4. Fiona - Anton's routines are so boring and is it really the celebrity to blame when lifts go wrong? Perhaps Ben can give Anton some coaching?

5. Natalie's Charleston music was hideous and was it really worth more than Sophie's Charleston?

1. Good grief - KevinfromGrimsby's been ronsealed!!
2. Wish I could rock a frock like Anya.
3. What planet were the judges on tonight?
4. Underwhelmed by Natalie, but glad she's feeling better.
5. Not wowed by Patrick, but LOVED Ashley.

Craig's 7 for both QS was bizarre especially as he gave the same score (or was it an 8?) to Lisa last year when hers was less technical and gapped all the way through. Aside from this he was the best judge scoring-wise tonight.

I love to watch Mark and Iveta and hope they continue on to next week.

Abbey's QS was very athletic. Loved it.

Sensed Natalie's vulnerability tonight, for the first time. It was a cracking charleston and she thoroughly deserved her 10s. Didn't like her hair, or eye make up though.

Was blown away by the power of Susanna and Kevin's paso. Ola's choreography pales into insignificance in comparison.

1. Hated the extra dancers - go away!
2. Hated Natalie's charleston (awful song, awful wig).
3. Patrick Is definately on the ascendancy despite the wardrobe malfunction.
4. Love a traditional paso.
5. Yet again the only 10 that means a ten is when Craig pops one up. So none of those tens count😜

No dances memorable enough or fault free to merit 10's

How did Natalie hid her hair

Supporting dancers pointless

Kevin showed the male celebs how a paso should be danced

Craig only one showing any variety in his marking

1. The overmarking. *puts head in hands*
2. Loved the kids and old farts joining in with the opening number.
3. Amazing that Anya managed to get her shoe tangled up in her dress considering how little she was wearing.
4. I was using the computer so only went to sit in front of the TV for the dances themselves. In so doing, I realised how little actual dancing there is in a 90 minute show.
5. I reckon that Tess is trying to reveal her entire body, bit by bit.

1. Sophie suffered from going first
2. Artem, what a dancer, was watching him I'm afraid rather than Natalie
3. Scoring was bonkers tonight, now for the judges outrage when there is a shock bottom 2.
4. Poor Anya looked really upset
5. Sure Bruce did the seagull joke last time

1) Crazy scoring. Craig is the only one marking what he see's.
2) Mark's "Jive" was awful- there was barely any jive content.
3) Really enjoyed Sophie's Quickstep and think, if anything, her score is a little low.
4) Natalie's Charleston wig makes her look like Flavia's bigger, meaner sister.
5) Memo to Bruce. On the rare occasion one of your jokes lands, do not ruin the moment by instantly repeating the punchline and waving your hands.

1) Felt sorry for Anya getting caught in her dress - wardrobe have it in for her. Patrick coped well and I overall I loved their samba.

2) The scoring was ridiculous tonight.

3) I love Mark and cheered him for getting the 'dinosaur' move it, but I think he has gone as far as he can go now.

4) Susanna and Kevin's Paso was the dance of the night for me. She looked gorgeous.

5) Natalie's charleston fell flat for me. I hated the music and the audience had quite a muted reaction to it to.

1) Bonkers marking and agree with sueh21 that the judges will be "outraged" with "the public" if there is a shock bottom 2 tonight, and so the response from "the public" should be "YOU'VE got the NERVE to criticise US?"!
2) I usually like Craig and respect Darcey, neither got either respect or like from me this evening.
3) I loved the pasos, but the whole cowboy thing did not work (why Ola why?).
4) I felt sorry for Natalie because her dance was oddly put together (not her fault) and whatever she does now seems to be a no win situation.
5) Back to bonkers marking, I really do not get what the judges are seeing when they look at Ben's dancing.

1) Shocked myself by really liking the additional dancers. Did briefly wonder whether Kristina would try to get away with dancing entire routine with them.
2) Susanna looked as though she was a bit shaken at the end and couldn't work out whether she had perhaps jarred something by being thrown down so hard or was just overwhelmed by Kevin's eyeliner. Anyway... Victory for traditional paso music! Just wish she'd got her head back.
3) Really impressed by Ashley's shaping (until the wrist) and genuine paso matador posture, so have been left wondering just how good he could have been with better choreography. (Found it v.repetitive) And when not dressed as Woody from Toystory.
4) Amazed by the content in Abbey's quickstep & glad judges pointed out it was a great accomplishment to perform that routine after one week of training. However, struggled to not be distracted by possibility of collision with randomly placed oversized bucket and spade. Wondering whether judges were also distracted... 3 10s??
5) Patrick confuses me. He somehow manages to make his dancing look right and wrong all at the same time. Making me interested in his progress though and loving Anya and her choreography. Heel in dress made me want to go into my television and give her a big hug.

(wanted to include Artem in post, but he was so ridiculously cool for school tonight, he just cant feature in a general list!!! )
