1. Patrick and Anya's samba was brilliant, it's a real shame about the heel getting caught in the dress, poor Anya.

2. Ashley is a really good dancer, but I don't thing he is being shown to his full potential. I would have loved to see him do a traditional Paso.

5. Mark seems such a lovely guy, I was cringing at Bruce's comments. I also think he is better than Fiona and most weeks Ben (the judges darling).

4. Craig was the only consistent judge, the others were overcome by the Blackpool experience

1. I have to admit to being slightly underwhelmed by both Natalie and Susanna. The best dances of the night by far, but none of them made me want to reach for my 10 paddle.

2. What on earth was Ola thinking when she choreographed that for Ashley? Still, I'd say it was his best dance to date.

3. Sophie really suffered from going on first in the running order - if she had danced later on, I suspect she MAY have had tens.

4. Kristina isn't even becoming subtle with the distractions now, but according to Craig it's still better than our two Quicksteps...

5. Blackpool was a disappointment, I'm afraid. Hopefully next week will be back to normal and back to good!

Series

1. Kevin and Susanna's paso was great fun and performance of the series, but despite what everyone is saying it did not really have the typical look and feel of a typical ballroom paso, unless at the next competition I go to I'm going to see 20 men stomping round a fire in matador outfits. That would be surreal.

2. Even so, Ola and Ashley were even less typical although steps and styling were there. My mind can only be in one place at one time. Not Dodge City and Seville.

3 Fiona looks so scared and worried. And is trying SO hard! I could have sworn I saw some thought bubbles above her head saying "Now what is that next step?" and "Got to get ready for lift".

4. Natalie and Artem. A very worthy and commendable attempt at a Charleston. I don't do worthy I'm afraid.

5. Bruce, stop reminding Mark how big he is. I know you meant well but I felt so embarrassed for him

EVERY dance would be better with traditional music and no wailing.

Only I'd put Ashley in the 'yawn' boat.

1. The marking is ridiculous , Craig giving Ben an 8 and Sophie a 7

1. If you've got a bad back, you don't do bends and lifts like that. So Natalie, get real, stop the pretence, either you're ill or you're not.

2. Susanna and Kevin - best dance of the night and only second behind Sophie's charleston for dance of the series.

3. Mark deserves a lot of praise for what he's doing, but perhaps not from Bruce going "HE'S FAT! FEEL FOR THE FAT MAN!"

4. It appears that Ben has finally "got" the show. So he's probably out next week.

5. Having backing dancers is cute. But let's not do it again.

1. Buhahaha. Kevin and Artem both decide they don't need stinking partners and give us the routines of the night.
2. Loved the theatrics and floor fill. The Tower Ballroom demanded it. But...
3. Seven couples get a chorus line, Susanna gets flames and a fierce, red cape as big as the ballroom itself, Abbey gets a plastic bucket
4. The Flight Attendant safety demo joke made me laugh.
5. Even with the mishap, Patrick and Anya's dance was my favourite of the night. Is it wrong to wish someone a bottom 2 place?

1. Didn't like the extra dancers - found them distracting
2. Loved all the music choices except the awful song for Natalie's dance
3. Loved Susanna's paso but found Kevin's socks rather distracting
4. I like Mark but he didn't really do a jive did he and as for the scoring - 8's really!!
5. I wish Abbey would stop with forever touching and re-arranging her hair. She is coming across as very vain

Oh and the trousers were too long. Should have been showing off a shapely calf instead we got pipe cleaners after heavy use.

1) marking. Natalie wasn't as good as Susanna so why the same marks?

He is large, that is a fact. Is it worse than commenting on Ben being large (in a different sense) or Abbey having long legs. All affect their performance in different ways.

1) Much as I love Natalie, I didn't think that her Charleston was that great to be honest. Not sure how much of that was the music which was quite lacklustre compared to the original but they were definitely out of sync for some of it. IMO the judges missed a trick, they could have done Natalie a favour and been a bit critical and not marked it quite so generously and maybe dispelled some of the 'judges favourite' and 'ringer' cries that appear every week. I do love Natalie though and she is someone I look forward to every week.

2) KFG seems a lovely bloke and thoroughly likeable. He seems a breath of fresh air compared to some of the more established pro's who I imagine are quietly seething at the positive spin and PR that Susanna and he are receiving. I do think though that when Susanna watches it back she'll wish that she kept her mouth closed and her chin up whilst she was dancing, not a good look.

3) I'm not a fan of Ashley or Ola but I do feel a bit for them, their Paso was completely overshadowed by Susanna and KFG. Whilst I'm at it Ola should be banned from putting in pivots for at least one week. I know that they're crowd pleasing but enough!

4) Such a shame about Patrick and Anya's samba. Anya looked smokin' hot.

5)Sophie always seems to me to be just one short step away from taking out a restraining order against Brendan and I for one wouldn't blame her. He's just so syrupy and gushy, vom.

Bonus 6)

Apart from the divine Natalie Lowe I think all pro's pre- Artem should be binned. Some are getting way too big for their boots and come across as very 'entitled'. To name names, Anton, Brendan, and James Jordan with a nod to Kristina (more for the promo side than the entitledness). IMO they are really only still in the show to keep their names in the press to promote their own tours, calendars etc. I do appreciate that the others tour etc but I think the ones I have mentioned seem to be just a little too cosy and need to realise that none of them is bigger than the show.

Yes!! I was trying to think who she reminded me of and couldn't get it til I saw Vod mentioned on the show thread. Love Vod, that Charleston not so much.

Your number 5 made me - I couldn't agree more. I think that because Sophie is genuine and lovely he's coming across as the smarm he's always been but has managed to hide.

As for number 6 - I think Anton and Brendan are past their sell-by date. I'm tired of James and Ola too. But if Vincent and Flavia want to return then a big 'yes please' for them.

Christina choreographs well to match her celebs' abilities - that was a cracking lift
Abby was overmarked by three judges
Mark has more musicality than many of the other celebs
Fiona should go, her dancing was tentative and she looked like she had forgotten the routine

it's James I'm tired off more than Ola, she seems to dance much better when she is with one of the other prof males, like in the show opener with Aljaz

KFG must have been on the sherbet dip dab. What a dancer!

1. So happy to see Mark put the last 2 weeks behind him & enjoy it again, because he makes me enjoy it with him.

2. If Tess & Claudia tell Kevin one more time that he is dancing royalty, I just know James & Brendan are going to pay a hit man.

3. Never thought I would love a Paso more than Austin's (he waz robbed you know) but now I do.

4. A cowboy Paso !!! No just NO. Ola you should be ashamed producing that mess, what a waste of a contender.
