Don't think it would have gone great in Elstree either though.”

Yes, Amber Riley and Derek Hiugh danced to that song on Week 3 of DWTS this season.

I agree, and that's why she's lurking near the top of the least favourite dance poll tonight.I have a suspicion she may be in the dance off. Let's hope it's not with Abbey.

Very underwhelmed by this tonight I expected great stuff - I too am bemused how someone with such a bad back - who by her own admission gave up dancing do to a bad back and in today's press admits she is trained - can pull off the stunts she does and is it fair that she has had a "rest" week

It wasn't even then (Samba, right?).

Seems like a curse to dance last this series.

She's second in the favourite dance poll.

And second in the favourite dance poll too...

Which only proves it was a marmite dance. I liked it - performed with real Josephine Baker style by Natalie.

Any assumption about popularity based on an audience reaction is probably not worth a great deal frankly...

I also noticed that the applause seemed subdued by comparison. Natalie did well enough all things considered, and frankly I was relieved for her that she didn't do too many tricks. I'm a bit concerned about her back condition.

I do think that was quite a sophisticated Charleston and although the music sounds a bit off-kilter it's effective. I've watched it back a few times now and love it more and more; Artem is such a brilliant dancer and the choreography show-cased his talent beautifully.

Natalie over marked IMO as not the best Charleston, lacked energy and sparkle. Undeserving of a standing ovation and that's why she didn't get one.

Get the impression she's not the popular amongst the GBP and for her undoubted talent that's why I don't think she'll win the final.

I think the audience should have all fallen theatrically to the floor en masse at the end of her dance.

I don't know what a gauge FB is, but they are after her blood on there. I am genuinely shocked at how nasty people are being about her missing last week.

I have to say the audience were still a little stunned by the previous performance.

Can't believe both couples scored 39 though, but I just found out that the judges went bonkers with almost all the couples tonight, even Mark.

Nat may not be my top favourite, I actually liked her dance tonight. I didn't like the horrible music that accompanied it, though the singers did what they could with that woeful will.i.am song.

Charleston is a small space dance much like AT. Following a traditional Paso with traditional music with something arty to modern music was always on a hiding to nothing.

The judges liked it equally as well as Susanna & Kevin's paso. With tonights scoring that does not say much at all.

Re bit after the ;

I agree. Artem really does like to showboat. However it did nothing for Natalie
Because of her back condition why was that bl***dy flip in there at all.

I think Artem has a flair for new and different takes on dances, but my problem with him (and it is only my view, which I accept may not be a widely held view), is that his dances tend to show off his talent rather than showcasing the celeb dancing xxx (named dance).

Natalie is under pressure for all sorts of reasons and I feel should be concentrating on the particular dance as it is supposed to be danced, and not carrying extra pressure of doing justice to Artem's ideas. Just my view though.

I thought it was a fantastic Charleston danced to one of the worst music choices ever on the show.

It was full of great steps with few gimmicks (I do like gimmicks btw ) and thought Natalie looked amazing (where did they put all her hair? ). I'll probably watch it again later with the sound off.

It was very different though to what we usually see on the show, so I can understand any disappointment, but I didn't notice the audience's reaction tbh.

Artem may have made a mistake with his choreography tonight because i thought the show ended on a bit of a flat note.

She got a standing ovation. People see what they want to see.

Why is she among the least favoured? She did well tonight!

See my reply above.
But you said it much better than I did.

Artem is treating Natalie as if she were a pro dancer.

I think Artem likes a smaller venue and where can show his considerable talents.

I will never forget his Argentine Tango a couple of years ago. Dancing I think with Holly.
